would like some clarification on rubric 'not at home?'
first, is that the way the rubric is written?
second, what rep is it in?
i have synthesis and find the following:
MIND - HOME - desires to go

MIND - DELUSIONS - home - away from home; he is

MIND - DELUSIONS - home - away from home; he is - must get there

I do not see ignatia listed in any of them, but do find calc-p.

It seems you are suggesting some sort of anxiety or grief at the core?

It is just an interesting thing about Calc phos. Do not think it has to be there. I would find it hard to prescribe Calc Phos though if liking for bacon and some salty things not there, . Jean

okay, so we have the same rubrics.
but are you interpreting this as an alienation or estrangement?
i ask for a specific reason. i have a woman who has a number
of physical sx. but the mental state is one of a loss of her
spiritual community. i think she feels that people were hypocritical
about their spirituality. they became greedy and self-serving.
she left the catholic church for that reason and then left this
other community about 18 mos ago.
i am trying to find rubrics to express her state which i think
includes a sense of betrayal, disappointment and loss; ie, a grief.
i can never get a sense of anger from her. so i was also interested
in the commentaries about remedies that dealt with a sense of honor
and rightness. and of course, remedies that expressed her sense of
loss of community and estrangement in the world. she also has much
anxiety about money: anxiety about not paying her bills on time.
this makes her feel different from the rest of the world that she
as being able to pay bills on time and feel good about it. so there
is much sense of difference, estrangement, loss and grief.

I would probably look into Puls ( Excitement causes dyspnoea)
and Ambra grisea ( Talking causes anxiety).

Other remedies that look good - Stram, Caust, Dros, Spongia (
Excitement aggravates) ...

But probably need more clarification-

Does this occur at school and with everyone- or is it just excitement
( even happy circumstances cause this?) or only anxious moments,
how is breathing during various activities ( running, drinking,
eating, positions of head or lying down), during sleep etc. Is the
breathing choking, rate of breathing during normal and such moments
as these etc.
Then take other symptoms into account as well...

Sorry. I only made some observations. I look at Calc Phos sometimes as not at home and anxious to get there ,Regarding your case as Hahnemannian 2002 says a picture can only be completed when all the modalities and personal and family history are taken into account.

ie, is not at the physical home and want to be there-for
comfort perhaps?

Was there a "bonding" issue with the mother?

Was the father present in the home?

Yes dyspnea. But these 2 rubrics are not exactly what is going on
w/her. She takes a quick breath before speaking when she is excited
not just anxious. Otherwise breathing is fine.

I had been thinking of puls but perplexed that a windflower was
underneath all that drive.

I will be reading all the entries on this list for puls w/o weeping
as soon as I have a NY minute.

This is something caused by excitement then... probably look at
Spongia...

If we generalize it we have also Ars, Coffea, Cypripedium,
Aurantium...(knerr under various Excitement rubrics)

whatever it is - if this is not the main symptom - (and if it is not
abnormal , which for me does not seem to be esp. in a child ,it
could be a symptom in an adult- but here actually Excitement, or
Excitable could be the symptom -) then it is better to look at this
along with other symptoms of the child....
