Sepia doesn't really suit the mother - I can't post fuller details but the extent and nature of the nervousness etc. isn't Sepia. Also the child is one and a half years old. Do other remedies fit the "large stools"? haven't had a chance to look up.

Vera

Hi Irene,
I am very testy tonight - please go and read your Organon because you
are talking through your hat again.
Many of us have experienced successful treatment of the baby by dosing
the mother just as Hahnemann advised.
Kind regards, though testy,

Mums remedy should stimulate her VF and likewise for the baby. The very criticism against homeopathy is that after 6c there is not a molecule of the original substance left and even at 6c or lower they state that technically there is a molecule or two but not enough to have any medicinal effect. Remember, we are using an energy medicine and the question follows a pharmiceutical line of reasoning. I wonder if this ought even be a concern. Am I missing something?

Hi Vera,
.
But this is an absolute textbook example of how things should go (and
hardly ever do).
After a remedy, things improve. Then the sx come back, but not as
strongly as before. This means that the remedy should be repeated (in
a different potency) Ideally things should keep on occuring that way.
At least that is how I learned it.

Luise

Hi Irene,
without having any opinion on the matter myself: Hahnemann usually
gave the remedy for a nursing child to the mother or wet-nurse.

i have had at least 2 experiences with my cats where the energy
in one being transferred to another. the first was many years
ago when i had several cats at home. i had given sulfur 200c
to one cat that was suffering from a bad flea allergy. my other
2 females healed along with the first one.
the second experience in had was with a female cat that was very
close to me. i used to call her my mother cat. i was on a rx
at the time that was having a positive effect. my female used
to just sink into my chest and sleep on me. she was going to
receive a rx for a condition that she had at the time but i never
gave her the rx. but she healed along with me.
so, i would summarize these experiences to say that the energy
can be felt and utilized by other beings if they are in a receptive
state. babies are usually in a receptive state to their mothers
and absorb their energy--it is one of the ways they begin to learn
patterns of behavior. so i would be open to the possibility of this
baby reacting to the mother's rx. how the baby reacts is open to
observation. so interesting.

Hi Luise,
don't get me wrong - I'm very happy with the progress the child has been making, as you say, it's textbook. I just don't want to hinder the child's improvement through the mother's remedy. It's the whole interaction between mother's rem and child's rem I find interesting.

Hi Jean,
I wouldn't switch the Gels for the mother at this stage since it's done so much good. Maybe Sepia later on?

How?
The life forces are not joined, and the remedy energy does not vibrate
with the wrong one.
It's not like remedy is in the blood stream - it's just energy - not
chemical.
As I see it:
Probably it has such a strong energy it interferes with the energy
pattern of a remedy, especially if the remedy is not a good simillimum.
A truly good simillimum will not need antidoting and will be so involved
with the life force that it is hard to even get at to antidote.
If there is excess simillimum (as in serious overdosing and
aggravation) then the excess will not be involved with the life force
strongly and will be easier - more accessible? - to antidote.
An idea:
Think of a cloud of energy that is the remedy - a cloud of energy that
is the life force - how well these meld when it is a good simillimum -
to exclude other things - and a cloud of camph that can "catch" the
cloud of remedy if it is not melded with life force, due to either being
too much of it or it not being melded strongly with the life force.
Namaste,
IRene
