This is only one of Hahnemann's interpretations.
The other is that the "vital force" (if one may call it that) of the
remedy does attack the similar disturbance of the vital force of the
patient, overcomes it by its similarity and then has establlished
itself as a similar condition to the one that was before - a
remedy-illness is established. That, however, dwindles away by itself
so that the vi.f. of the patient isrestored to its healthy state.
I do not off-hand remember the number of the aphorism - but I suppose
it will come up in Soroush's presentation of them.
