Yes, when the sx fit - this rx has severe burning with the bites as
well as the usual itching and surrounding areas of the bite go a sort
of purplish colour. There is often a craving for heat though, being out
in the sun, also Indicated in so called poison oak. Best wishes, Joy

Craving for heat on it is quite specific as I can't think of another remedy
that has this for a bite. Most want cold applications.

Thanks for your explanations and I think what you have written could explain
what I was told. It was John Morgan I spoke to at the time if I remember
rightly. I do hope Bob writes again to tell us the differences between
herbal tinctures and homeopathic MT.

I remember reading (I think it was in Dewey's Essentials of Hom MM and
Hom Pharmacy) that homeopathic tinctures are much purer than herbal ones
and much more care is taken over their processing. Also fresh plants
are used whereas in herbal ones sometimes dried plants are used.

Rhus tox wouldn't want cold, nor would Hypericum. I wonder if people
who react really badly to insect bites tend to have a H/O herpes or
other serious skin complaint. Joy

So you seem to be saying that the French-German pharmcop.s start their labeling "one up" from Indian/UK? That would seem to mean, too, that 2x, 3x, and so on are in fact all "one up" from the Indian/UK/USA products? what about the C series? Does it mean that a D12 (German) is equivalent to an 13x (Indian)?

This would explain to me about some 1x's I got from Dolisos that looked "watered down" to me.
