hi
Interesting.
Well, Certainly the remedies listed on the website as "addtitional
cell salts" are homeopathically potentized (triturated) to 3x, 6x and
the like. But I'll debate whether they should be "cell" salts or
simply homeopathic trituated medicines. I know these medicines are
frequently used in homeopathic prescriptions. I certainly use
Aur-nat-mur often enough for the same purposes.
As I understand Schuessler, the original 12 were determined because
they were present in the human body and are necessary for the body's
cellular function. Of course there may be more such minerals beyond
the 12 that fit that criteria. But I'm questioning whether lithium,
gold, aluminum, arsenic and the like fit the criteria.

Re: cell salts
I've also run across the site that I think you must have found that at. But I haven't taken time to try to understand why he calls all of those "cell salts" as well. If you find that, or if anyone knows, I am curious!

X or D is tHe decImal scale (roman X for ten or D foR decimal)
There are twelve cell salts in 6x potency developed and documented as to homepathic uses, by Schuessler.

Re: cell salts
Cell salts are sometimes described as "a kind of homeopathy", or "on the fringe of homeopathy"; other people just say yes, they are homeopathy. They are very much worth getting familiar with. Their range is more limited compared with well-done classical / constitutional / etc. prescribing -- but they can be so very useful, and very well suited to learn-as-you-go self-prescribing.
I would recommend to become familiar with them and *also* spend some time with some of the "home prescriber" manuals written to guide acute prescribing.
Acute prescribing (both via cell salts and also via "regular" acute homeopathic remedies) is very accessible, and a wonderful and powerful way to learn to use remedies.

Re: cell salts
The rule is simple - Has it been proved and is prescribed according to symptom similarity?
If yes, it is HOMEOPATHY.
If No, then it is not homeopathy!
