Consider a terror or trauma remedy such as Aconite, Stram,
Lyss. or Hyos for example.
The rest may be "acting out" and taking on the
valence of his father's violence, a substitute for
normal acceptance and safety in the family, so he becomes volatile
and unlikeable, all of which compounds the problem and virtually
ensures that no matter how much stuff he has he will still not
be normally loved and accepted. The stuff becomes an attentional
diversion.

Stram was the Rx I first thought of but after talking to Mum decided on Med
30.

I haven't been following this but you see this a lot in children who
feel they are getting a 'poor deal' in the attention and nurture
aspects - compensating by wanting the fine things of life as an
artificial value attached to them - plenty of adults develop this trait
also :-) Perhaps use the rubric capricious?

Mixed in with a kind of manipulation and rage (again can be
compensation for abuse history) you kind of start thinking about the
milks especially Lac caninum, possible a spider rx, and I also thought
about Crocus if his moods tend to change rapidly and he is repentant
after rage. Depends on what is the core of this case. Joy

Hi Rochelle,

With a father who was violent, and a mother who seems emotionally ambivalent, it
might be worth re-considering Stramonium ? I've seen both Calc and Puls kids go
into this state after witnessing or being subjected to some trauma, plus wouldn't his
biggest fear be that he will be abandoned by his mum also, after his dad going ? Just
my opinion FWIW, but I wouldn't place so much importance on the actual 'posh food'
or 'materialism', but on the *why* and my gut reaction is that he wants to feel special
because it is a compensation for his feelings of being forsaken.

I gave this child Black Mamba 30 today as when I sent the MM to someone who
asked for it I realised that it fit this child to a T. Now lets see if it
does anything!!! The Med 30 I gave him did act a little I reckon as the
swearing has stopped. I witnessed him telling his Mum to "go away" and
pushing her twice after he went into tears for seemingly no reason after we
were discussing how she would meet him 1/2 way re sanctions for
misbehaviour. I think he realised that she was being reasonable and he
couldn't take it. This happened about 15 mins after the Remedy!!
I will keep you informed!!
