Preparation for Cancer of the Esophagus
Re: Preparation for Cancer of the Esophagus
Hi Ellen,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. If he is ready to go and it has to be his choice at his age, don’t forget the Arsenicum for an easy passing. It would have been exactly what my father needed when I sat by him at the end but I didn’t know about homeopathy then L

Re: Preparation for Cancer of the Esophagus
Hello Ellen, my sincerest condolences on your dad's illness.
My mom had cancer and she had also decided she didn't want her life prolonged and was not interested in even trying to be cured.
Our beautiful homeopathic remedies kept her relatively pain free through her illness and she passed gently and naturally. She was mentally clear and alert until the very end.
There is a lot of comfort you will be able to give him. Be sure to empower him to do what he wants. Too often a person with cancer is put on a treadmill of totally being ordered around by everyone they know.
This will not be easy but it is a sacred experience you will be sad but not sorry you went through it with him.
My thoughts are with you.
Warmly, Maria.

Dear Ellen
I wish you much strength and patience. You are obviously going through a tough time.
Colleagues have made some superb suggestions which I am sure will help you and your dad.
It is interesting that at some stage old people facing pain and treatment that only adds to the problem, decide that they want to go to the other world. But with homeopathy you will be able to reduce his pain and help him through the passage.
Our thoughts are with you.
Safe journey.

Hi,
I am getting ready to go to the US in a week. My dad has cancer of the esophagus. I have MacRep and Opus on a laptop, so I am ready with some books, but I am currently trying to shore up my knowledge of likely remedies based on Ramakrishna's Cancer book. I am looking at stuff like Liz Lalor's delusions because I am not going to lug that over. What else should I be doing? (I will bring likely remedies and I have a big remedy kit for travel.).
He's saying he wants to die because of the pain. Does not want to do the radiation because it will not cure etc. Good days and bad days of course. Can't eat anything solid. So a 170 lb guy is down to 130 lbs. But, he is 93 and totally there mentally. Vision and hearing almost gone. But he can hear close to the ear. And he can walk and talk. Plays poker and went crab hunting yesterday. My sibs are not good at case taking, so I have to get there. I am trying not to drive myself with worry. He is one sturdy guy. This is the 3rd bout with cancer and diabetic. All he has left is mind and will. And lots of love around him.
Any suggestions for other prep? References?
Best,
Ellen Madono

Hello Ellen
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad during this most difficult time. I have used Ramakrishna's book in the past and seen good results.
May the Force be with You

Hi Rochelle,
I have a Sulis remedy maker that I am bringing. Do you remember the potency that Alise Timmerman (spelling of her name?) suggests? It is some weird potency. But I could make it. I should ask on Minutus.
Yeah, what we did when we didn't know homeopathy. It feels like a past life rather than this life. AD and BC.
That you could sit beside your father during his passing was a gift. I will be able to do the same. Something to celebrate. Not everyone can.
Blessings,
Ellen

Re: Preparation for Cancer of the Esophagus
Dear Lynn,
Thank-you for your help both privately and to the group.
I think you are saying Alise Timmerman recommended 4c ars?
I have been having such incredible results with F potencies. I wonder how they would work? Plussing maybe. I could start with the Sulis remedies which are suspect at a gut level, but work. Then, wait for the real rx to come by mail. Who produces them in the US?
About your dad, the lullabye was a wonderful metaphore. In the Biography of a Yogi, Yogananda describes finding the house where the child is born as the dying person passes. My mom was so childlike in so many ways I feel sure that she is now raising hell in some deserving family.
My father at 93 has a devoted girlfriend who travels from Minneapolis to be with him. She sweetly whispers in his ear and he can hear her just fine. He can't hear me, selectively. I am not a sweet person, how could I do something so sweet as whisper in his ear? The last rx, he was refusing to answer questions while loudly demading that I cure him. I just could not be sweet. Luckily his refusal to answer pointed loudly to Bryonia which so clearly trumped antibiotics for a persistent racking cough. My challenge is to become sweet. Holding hands is a good start.
Blessings,
Ellen
