Anti-inflamation spices in a jar!

Post by Vicki Satta »

:-) To me, you're still the guru of the oil-based inflammation treatment. I just sent an e-mail to a good friend/nutritionist to have her check my formula to see if the turmeric powder and the fermented, sliced turmeric and ginger + black peppercorns ferment is enough to meet the anti-inflamation requirements for people like us Roger. Now that I watched Dr. Mercola video on curcumin as am anti-inflammation supplement, it seems like I might need to add the daily minimal requirement to my turmeric/ginger (raw and fermented) as well as making sure that the powdered turmeric is at least at the level of the DAILY requirment for anti-inflamatory purposes and possibly add some curcumin, which he also says is difficult to absorb without oil!! So we're way ahead of him on that Roger! Do you use the curcumin?
LOL... I know. I have designed a chart for my refrigerator and track everything/every day as I mark it off when I take it! I was going to ask you another question, but I'm too sleepy and forgot what it was!

Cheers!
Vicki

Vicki,

I used to take a pill that was mostly turmeric with a little added curcumin. But now the spicy oil (with about 40% turmeric) is quite sufficient. I save money and get more inflammation reduction.

There is no such thing as turmeric or curcumin deficiency. You can tell that you getting "enough" turmeric/curcumin oil when you have reduced your inflammation, and you can tell that you have reduced your inflammation when things stop hurting.

Roger
