In my books, this can be a difficult condition to treat.

Once again it responds best to symptom-totality treatment - but it is a slow progress - rather than targeted treatment.

Carcinosin produced wonderful results for one woman - but is not even listed in the repertory for the problem.

Remedies that reduce swelling / allergies in the naso-pharynx can help but often just temporarily.

Changes to weight and other lifestyle factors also help ... but again, problems in these areas also indicate helpful remedies.

thanks Fran
she said doctor though she had narrow airway but that was just a thought and nothing proven, of course.
She uses CPAP type machine and is only 38 years old.................
She's one of my students and I just thought I'd ask here if anyone had treated and cured any cases................of course all individuals.

I know the potential for cure, but wanting to see who had actually accomplished that

My woman who did well on Carcinosin was formally diagnosed with a narrowed airway and overly large base of her tongue - it had been a problem for her since her teen years and they wanted to do surgery but she was too frightened.

Her apnoea did very well on Carc - which was a pleasant surprise to both of us as it wasn't prescribed for that. I am assuming she is still doing well as I haven't heard from her for some time as she now only drops in if she has a problem.

thanks - Carc fit the totality except sleep apnea but not sure there is much listed there for that rubric, if there even is one

Yes, I refer to Respiration, sleep, arrested in the rep but it is a very incomplete rubric.

Sleep apnoea seems to be a relatively recent problem. I have spoken with doctors who said they thought it was just a gimmick when it was first being discussed but have now had to accept it is a real phenomenon in epidemic proportions. Makes one thinks pollutants, diet, and vaccines (or a combination of the 3) have to be involved somewhere.

My mom was cured of her quite noticeable sleep apnea by Carcinosin. A young patient of mine responded well to Lycopodium, but unfortunately I have limited follow-up on that case.
Peace,
Dale

One of my clients had amazingly rapid results with Hep. He had swelling of the uvula which many remedies have but what confirmed it was the mentals and generals. In the past he went into a rage over pain. This was not a current emotional problem since he had been doing Vipassana meditation for many years and was pretty happy and content. So I had to delve into his past.

I agree that the general case is much more important than the particulars as is almost always the situation. We are not treating the disease but the person who has the disease.
