Magnesium tablets versus magnesium oil
Magnesium tablets versus magnesium oil
I am about to reorder Magnesium which I take daily and I came across
magnesium oil. I seem to remember it being mentioned here.
Question – am I best to continue my 1 x 500gm Magnesium tablet a day
or massage 3 sprays of magnesium oil into my skin when 10 sprays gives
180mg of absorbable elemental magnesium as this appears to be the dose
although it does say use often!!
I have just found an interesting pdf which I am attaching in which it
seems to say that only 10% of the tablets are absorbed intimating that
I would be better off with the oil!!
Thanks

What does it mean when something cannot pass the blood barrier? You can get nutrients through with fermented foods and drinks, but I don't think that has anything to do with absorption, does it?

Absorption means, I think, the bodies ability to use it. If not it just passes thru and is a wasted expense.
Altho, one perspective with Vit C that I read is that the body uses it as needed before passing it along.
Not well versed enough on this.

Do you notice *any* change when you take it? If not, you might try edging up 100 or 200 mg at a time, and see if a higher dose makes any difference. Or *maybe* you just don't need it, in which case you'd start to get mildly loose stools, without feeling in particular any better on the way up.

Why not try testing your body with kinesiology?

Re: Magnesium tablets versus magnesium oil
I find one or two sprays does the trick.
Start with one and work your way up as needed.
Best,
Lynn

Re: Magnesium tablets versus magnesium oil
From what I understand we are so Magnesium depleted, that over dosing would be a difficult thing to accomplish with Magnesium.
