Veganism: off-topic

Post by Roger B »

Veganism is taking a good thing too far. The standard American diet (yes, it is SAD) has way too much grain fed meat and artificially and unbalanced fed everything else, including eggs, and way too little veggies. So, of course, a switch to veganism will improve one's health (temporarily), and then people shout and cheer and declare veganism superior to all other diets.

This cheering and back-slapping and high fiving may partly be the result of ethical concerns, but these ethical concerns are greatly misplaced. A cow at a raw milk farm walked up to me with the obvious desire to be loved, and this is without doubt the very first time that this has happened to me. In a conventional dairy, I would have run like hell. But I experienced cow love, sort of like doggie love, except with a much bigger tongue. (:->) In a properly (as in loving the animals) run dairy or other farms or ranches, animals are greatly blessed (and vica versa) to be in the company of human beings. Such proximity helps both the animals and humans grow spiritually. Grain farms destroy habitats.

Consuming raw milk from real raw milk dairies (where the farmer has sweet names for every cow) and eggs and honey are the only foods that do not cause harm. Every other food causes some animal some harm.

Pure veganism is lacking in nutrient density. SAD or other high meat diets put a huge burden on the elimination of metabolic wastes, which can kill you.

Only a person keeping a very close eye on me would be able to see that I do not eat a pure vegetarian diet. And my eggs are a very small part of my diet.

Given that veganism is a cult, it is unlikely that this one email of mine will deprogram anyone. But it might be a start.

Always worthwhile to try, and hope that people will delve deeper into the reality of our very brilliant design.
