Hom Software

Post by Gisela Ahrendt »

Hello Group
does any one have knowledge of a Remedy Finder Software that is easy and does not cost a lot?
Please let me know - there are many and I have demo'd some but found them to hard to learn and not really accurate.
And please do not tell me about Radar - too expensive and too difficult.
Appreciate any help
Gisela

It is not just the expense of Radar but the costs of upgrades.
Pay attention to upgrade costs and frequency for any program you buy.
Also, ask about ongoing tech support. Often companies will only provide support
thru 1 or 2 upgrades.

I second Complete Dynamics vote. My school did require to submit all reps done on Radar but I never went back to using it after I was done with school work.

Complete Dynamics also offers a free (limited) version
Sundays you can use the full version (free)
so you can try before you buy!

I never got on with Radar – I couldn’t learn how to use it fast enough for my liking. I use Isis from Miccant.com – have you looked at this one as it is very intuitive and easy to use.

HomeoQuest is a good one as you can use its free version for trial and later on you can buy it, not so costly. http://www.homeoquest.com/homeopathy-so ... ree-trial/

And RADAR people refused to sell me a new dongle when I no longer had one that fit my new computer.
Said I had to buy a new program, but would discount it. NOT OK. Said the only way they could afford to be in existence was for people to keep buying programs and updates
Sorry, I had what I needed and wasn't told it had a time limit.............just needed a new dongle for a serial port! Period. That was it.
Don't recommend radar anymore. Felt like extortion to me

OpenRep Synopsis from Polony and Weaver Homoeopathy has a FREE version.
I installed and when trying to run it, the splash screen comes up then disappears.
Has anyone used their s/w?
You can try it out, if it runs for you, let me know.

Thank you Guys for the input - I agree tried Radar and was not happy with price and ease of use. Will check the others - up to this point use the Boericke online medica and have to make my own repertory to find the remedy but it makes me read alot of remedies - takes a long time but it seems to work :) But it would be nice to have a faster way.
