With respect, I disagree.
When you know little it is IMO, VERY important not to shut up but to ask questions so you can learn. I admire Roger for actively participating in a way that does encourage learning. If not for those who ask questions, or pose problems, we would have no forum for learning here, and we all would just be pontificating.
I do not think you wanted that either, really.
Roger, I see a compromise to what you have suggested. I agree that you will fast need hydration to ensure blood flow, and certainly some hydration could not possibly be harmful if you got Ebola (which I hope nobody does) .
But there is a better way:-)
FIRST use CHina and Crot-h preventively. This will build your resistance to all illnesses covered by these two remedies, thus making your chances of illness very low indeed even if you are exposed.
It will mean you also have these two remedies on hand should you or someone you know get ill.
Then go get hydrated and at the same time take the remedies if you think you might have contracted Ebola.
Homeopathic remedies kick in in SECONDS.
That is a great safety line.
In serious illness, I'd use the Fibonacci series and grab 30C if that is what is handy, then make it up to 34C, then 55C then 89C the 144C then 233C.
THAT will ensure fastest possible response.

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
It IS changing.
The new research for example reports a new clade of Zaire Ebola virus has emerged.
However a possibly nastier thing not yet confirmed or studied in humans, occurs in the animals who die from Ebola. Note that it is contact with these animals that results in the transfer to, and infection of, humans to start a new outbreak:
These animals tend to have multiple simultaneous strains of Ebola!
The main animals involved in the zoonotic transfer, are chimpanzees, monkeys and duikers (A duiker is a small buck/antelope), and when the Ebola gets to man to start a new outbreak, it always is at a time when these animals are in sharp decline due to the Ebola viruses in them.
Yet these animals are not the natural reservoir for Ebola, which is unknown so far, though fruit bats MAY be involved per some new research, (unconfirmed but suspected.)
The mode of infection is the same, with the saem animals.
Susceptibility would depend on the status of the thymus aspect of the immune system. Remember that the thymus is VERY easily damaged, reducing resistance. Vaccines damage the thymus - ANY vaccines against any illness do that.
So MY question is - Has the population been getting vaccines lately (since Ebola emerged in the 70s) and thus having their immune systems compromised?
THAT would explain higher virulence and a higher percentage of people getting ill with new outbreaks.
In practice the current outbreak has already affected more than twice the previous highest number of victims in any total Ebola outbreak statistic since it emerged as a new health threat, and this outbreak is just starting. I would be most interested to know what the vaccine status is in the outbreak area - have the people all "kindly" been vaccinated recently for something?
Over a VERY long time yes, either that or the host develps defences.....but Ebola is relatively a newborn in this arena, it only emerged in about 1976 or so.
Chances are it will get a lot worse first.
Compare with FIP - a killer disease that first emerged in the 1960s. It used to be a rare killer as Ebola was. By the 1990s FIP was killing 1% of the entire world population of the affected species per year and now in 2014 it is killing ten percent of the population per year. For all its trying, allopathy has had ZERO success with FIP survival, more than fifty years later, not one case, and it is still getting worse each year and also MORE virulent.
So Ebola is 16 years behind FIP, and I would not expect human adaptation ( or indeed animal adaptaton) much less virus adaptation for Ebola, any time soon.

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
I know I am probably cutting in at the end here......
What happens if you take crot horr and/or china and start proving? Then how do you know if it's a proving or Ebola? Medics will quarantine you straight away.
If you do think you have ebola or been exposed, the responsible thing to do is notify and get quarantined. Not that I am agreeing with medical approach but you cannot assume you can treat yourself and not infect others, who may not have access to successful homeopathic treatment. Ebola is deadly serious. We do not know the genus epidemicus or if there is one so it's premature to talk of prophylaxis.

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
Dr. Beth Bell, CDC Infectious Diseases Center, discusses the Ebola crisis in West Africa, and the risks to U.S. citizens. Bell explains current experimental treatments.
CDC not saying the current drug used is useful or not since only 2 people took it, could be coincidence, natural healing occurs (?)
Playing down this drug significance.
When asked about if this Ebola strain is more deadly, CDC seems to acknowledge indirectly it is another strain, saying no difference in transmissibility, 4 reasons largest outbreak: this is first outbreak in West Africa, they're not ready to handle, no strong healthcare systems, 3 countries involved, so no meticulous contact tracing, unusual urban area outbreaks.
FYI, Big Pharma not that interested in Ebola since limited audience is in poorer countries thus not a $$$ maker.

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
What about the multiple organ failure and the dehydration?
These are the main causes of death in Ebola, so they need to be covered.

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
Maybe that is why they brought those two infected people back to the states. The cdc has a treasure trove of hideous infection diseases stocked away. So many that sometimes they loose track of them and find them laying around here or there and then claim there was no one at risk.
Just my thoughts on the matter

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
First off: nothing happens without a reason or cause.
So, I'd say it would be useful to gather *all* possible info about ebola
outbreaks, like when (time of year, season, etc.), where (what region,
specific circumstances, etc.), in what climate, who were affected
(animals, what animals, age, gender, humans, what humans, age, gender,
state of health, previous history of health, previous *treatments*,
etc.), who survived, *why* did they survive (etc.!), general health
status of those affected, and a long list of info I haven't thought
about yet. It may be hard to find, but there *must* be a cause, reason,
pattern, etc.
Because, as said, nothing happens without a reason or cause. As a *wild
guess*: Did we (sort of) eradicate a bacteria that kept the ebola virus
in check? We know next to nothing about 'eco' systems and ruling powers
in the microbe world, but it would be daft to think that the
interdepending systems we see *everywhere* in nature do *not* exist in
the microbe world.
So, what happened, and how come?

Re: Ebola and homeopathy
Hennie that is an excellent point about the balance of nature. Sickness is just the absence of health.
I am a treatment free beekeeper which means I use NO treatments, not even those acceptable by organic beekeepers. After much research concerning bees and this CCD that is killing them off, one of the contributing factors is our intrusion and desire to fix problems with chemicals. Most beekeepers put pesticides in the hive to kill mites. They feed bees sugar syrup or HFCS which both destroy the bees gut bacteria since sugars pH is about 7 and honey is about 3.5.
Bees have managed to thrive for thousands of years before we decided to attempt to manager them and now they are sick.
So now that you clued in on the idea that what has changed in the environment makes great sense as a place to start in the who what when where and why of ebola. How long have American doctors been in this area helping. Have they been vaccinating? Distributing pest control or "cleaning" the water allowing bad bugs to take over?
This is why natural medicine rocks. It always asks why first to get to the root of the problem instead of masking and suppressing symptoms only prolonging sickness.
Cheers
Vicki

So now that you clued in on the idea that what has changed in the environment makes great sense as a place to start in the who what when where and why of ebola. How long have American doctors been in this area helping. Have they been vaccinating? Distributing pest control or "cleaning" the water allowing bad bugs to take over?
This is why natural medicine rocks. It always asks why first to get to the root of the problem instead of masking and suppressing symptoms only prolonging sickness.
