Hi,

Will Taylor suggests that we use the various indexes of words used in medicine, repertories and ordinary language that go with the various programs. I make my own index as an ongoing process. This way, you can make your own judgements. If you know what is out there especially as a rubric and what those rubrics mean, it is easier to make judgements. Making good juddgements takes practice and research. So, bypassing the thought process by relying on someone else is not helpful in the long run.

Therapeutic handbooks like Roger Morrison's Desk top companion is another way to help you with those decisions.

The teacher who helps me to organize my thinking on these subjects is the one who I value. Not just his answers.

Of course, someone like Sherr could be a reference, but I would not use anyone as an absolute authority. I am in a constant process of learning a method, and then figuring out its limitations and applications.

Ellen
