MSM and aloe vera

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

Dear Colleagues

Roger had wanted to post on Minutus a letter he had written to his sister in law about his use of MSM.

I rejected it because I found it inappropriate.

Pls see his response.

Best wishes

Soroush,

Please ban me from your site. I am sick and tired of your authoritarian, obnoxious, insulting and narrow minded opinions and attitudes. You may be an expert on homeopathy, but I do NOT accept you as an authority about anything else except your own opinions. Why you can allow idiotic Wiccan propaganda from other people in their content and their signatures but I can't have an opinion or belief is a mystery to me. So, please, ban me, because I don't like you and I don't get anything out of your forum; I mostly give and get very little if anything back. I spend too much time deleting emails coming from you forum. I can't remember that last time that I actually learned something from a bunch of fools fretting about the how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, er, I mean fretting about the definition of homeopathy.

Furthermore, you homeopaths are just like MDs; you may have the right therapeutic philosophy but you are just as greedy as the MDs, just not as successful as MDs. You homeopaths are a insular lot. My poor sister-in-law spent hundreds of dollars with a homeopath and got nothing out of it. No, I am not against homeopathy; I am against homeopaths, an insular, obnoxious, and greed bunch. And you, Soroush, are the worst of the lot. And I will be telling people this. I will be telling them that if they want homeopathy, they should either do it themselves or go to a naturopath, but don't go to a homeopath.

Roger

Dear Roger

We know you are doing MSM – but it is not homeopathy and not appropriate.

goodness sakes! Bless you Soroush!
Yes, I agree too much off topic - he's also on another list for Homeopathy and Special Needs Children (autism primarily) and it is about homeopathy and always other things posted too.
Thanks

Sheri

Ban yourself, Roger. I, for one, get tired of deleting your off topic, usually pointless/baseless and anecdotal about yourself emails

Soroush
So sorry for the personal attack by this Roger person.
Shortly after he entered this group, I realized that he had
his own agenda and very strong, probably narcissistic ego.
I stopped reading his posts and refused to respond to any.
I also encouraged others to ignore him as it was clear that
he was more interested in controlling space and pushing
his particular interests, ignoring the fact that this is a
homeopathy list first and foremost. We may entertain some
OTs but they never subsume the homeopathic priority. This
guy Roger, never understood that and his letter that you
rejected in a case in point.
I for one won’t be sorry to see him off the list.

If his response had been purely towards me, then you have a point Irene.

However, as his response concerned not only me and my role, but members of Minutus and homeopaths in general, then I my view is that the members should know about it.

Dear Soroush,

It is not "my" point. As a publisher I learned some rules, and we do not have the rights you have assumed here.

There are laws against invasion of privacy in USA and they apply here.
This is public list and there is no expectation of privacy here. But there IS expectation of privacy in a personal email. It does not matter what someone says, (except you have the right to litigate it directly if you feel so inclined) - however if it is in a private email you have no right to make it public.
That can be grounds for litigation.
I do not know if this person would wish to do that, but I do not think you should act to be open to it.
I understand you were annoyed, but that is not the point. What he says is irrelevant in this matter. He has expectation of privacy if he writes to you privately. He only said it to you- you cannot force him to say it to us. It is HIS choice, not yours.

If you wish to report that he wrote to you, and what he was talking about, you have that right if you do it in YOUR words. (You would still need to keep to words that are not litigated due to the private communication facts being make public.)

Apart from that, it is also a great breach of etiquette to post any private correspondence in a public place, no matter how much you might dislike (or like) the private opinion. It requires permission of the writer.

That is what I meant by "not having the right" to post private correspondence publicly.
(I am not saying it was nice correspendence! ... just that it had the right of privacy. )

Namaste,
Irene

This was a letter written by this man who wanted to make it public.
Soroush saw it as inappropriate to a homeopathy list. Roger pushes
this product which is sold as by individuals in a pyramid type marketing
business model.
Roger reacted in an obnoxious, egotistical manner.
If the letter was appropriate to this group there would have been no issue.

Easy confusion - He wrote two emails,
The first one intended public about MSM etc (which Soroush quite rightly blocked, as was his prerogative);
and a second one with expectation of privacy, just to Soroush.
