Rochelle,

Not sure if you just sent out this link - but it's from back in 2010 - it's not new.....

You might want to go here to see the actual fact that only 3 MPs voted for the final verdict - see the second post. ....but hey why would that make any difference when you've already decided the conclusion!

Pretty nasty stuff.
I don’t know what it will take for homeopaths to get their blood moving
and take some serious action. Homeopathy in the US was almost totally
destroyed by the infighting and individualism of the practitioners in the
early-mid 20c. It so frustrates me to see how people learn little from
history. The UK which should have been a strong beacon for homeopathy
is acting like a wet noodle.

The problems with "homeopathy" can be put into two categories, and anyone taking time to criticize Fisher is just as guilty in not recognizing them as he is, if not more so.
The opposition to homoeopathy hinges on these two points, there first being that homoeopaths have not presented the plasma physics of their ionized pharmacy.
Because there has not been any physics presented, proponents of the competing doctrine and pharmacy feel justified in attacking the in vitro, non clinical and clinical evidence for homoeopathy.
In regards to Fisher, he is no worse than anyone else in this regard to physics, but he is to be recognized for his hard work in defending the evidence. It was Fisher who took to task the only so called "meta analysis" to imply homeopathics to be "placebo," and exposed them for cherry picking and hiding what studies they were analyzing. No other meta analysis of homeopathy has concluded it to be due to the placebo effect.
The four year old homeopathy bashing by the MP Evidence Check listed here as if it was yesterday, was roundly swatted in a memo to Parliament by Dr. Fisher:
In this review of the literature Fisher writes:
And so they still say homeopathic remedies are nothing more than pure water. But so is Tritium.
And so when the "mechanism of action" is presented as radioactivity, not chemical, but a nuclear reaction, homoeopathy will be seen as being MORE than just "plausible," As nuclear medicine, medical isotopes, radiopharmaceuticals, the ionized pharmaceuticals used in homoeopathy will be a registered fact. And we have tests now that support the claim that homoeopathic remedies are wide spectrum emitters

1. Boericke and Tafel, photons
2. Conte, beta radiation
3. Elia, heat
4. Benveniste and Montagnier, low frequency emissions.

So what can we do?

1. 1. First of all, stop repeating the opposition's mantra that there's no physics and no corrollaries for homeopathy, and keep shoving the non clincial evidence under their noses. If homoeopathics are placebos and its pharmacy inert, then how is it that its action can be seen in plants, animals and the petri dish?
2. Repeat the radiant emission tests along with structural tests. Fund them. Expanded on them for the disbelievers.
3. If you're not willing to accept this, then stop griping about the griping.

In the meantime, God bless Peter Fisher. The Queen should knight him.for what the's done for homoeopathy.

You weren’t alone Rochelle, because I had a knee jerk reaction and responded
as if this were a new assault.
