Mastitis was I found this amusing
Daughter in Law told me that in the morning after the Belladonna 200 she was 100% but I think she must have meant the fever and headache as I have just picked up an email that says:-
So has anyone have any ideas for remedies for a blocked duct as I can’t find anything in the rep. I wondered about Silica but I have no experience with dealing with this problem.
Thanks
Rochelle

I didn’t see the mention of ducts. I have read Clarke and can’t see any similarities to what she described. I did notice it was complimentary to Silica though.

Re: Mastitis was I found this amusing
Dear Rochelle,
After the inflammation is subsided by Belladonna, you can change your one-sided inflammatory approach to a constitutional approach. I mean prescribing a remedy suitable for her constitutional type; like Calc, Sil, Puls,.... according to her symptoms. When there is a considerable reduction in the severity of inflammatory conditions, prescribing a deeper remedy may help in clearing the remaining problems.
Warm regards,
Ardavan

Thanks Ardavan- This sounds very sensible. It is my daughter in law and I have no idea what her constitutional remedy is. I make it a rule not to take the full cases of friends and family!! I will suggest to her that she sees a local classical homeopath in Singapore. She only had the 1 dose of Bell 200 yesterday which appears to have done the trick and I don’t feel it is indicated now the fever has subsided.

Re: Mastitis was I found this amusing
I have always liked phytolacca for mastitis. It is good for lymphatic conditions.
Years ago when I was nursing my children and before knowing anything about homeopathy, I got mastitis numerous times with each of my children. My mom also had that problem much worse than I did.
Many years after phytolacca came up for some problem I had so I took it, it did me a lot of good and seemed to remove some things I had hanging around for a long time.

Re: Mastitis was I found this amusing
Hi,
Maybe my memory of the remedy is wrong, but I think Will Taylor made a big deal about phyotolacca being the "knee jerk" selection for mastitis of sheep and cattle. It's top in all the old books because they were the clients. Hard to imagine that humans didn't have problems then too. Apparently, livestock get much worse infections than humans. Maybe it advances more before human care takers notice. The small infections of humans often repp into something other than phytolacca. For what its worth. Maria, maybe you have something more in common with livestock than most women who visit Will's office.
Hope my memory of the remedy is not wrong because I have no experience here. I could not get enough milk during the first week until the third child. Once my husband woke up to find my starving daughter eagerly sucking his nose.
Blessings,
Ellen

Re: Mastitis was I found this amusing
Since she went out tonight I presume she is over the worst. I will take her some Phytolacca when I go out to Singapore later this month as I know it is a remedy I have never given her for her kit. What potency do you think works best?
