if remedies are spilled by accident on the carpet or floor--simply wiping them wont get rid of it right? will they be able to be inhaled by who ever is around? or if a person steps on that area will they get a dose?

A remedy is only homeopathic if it matches a persons symptoms. I have dropped and wiped up a lot of remedies. Don't think anyone was ever injured or dosed that way. Usually a remedy not chosen for a person does much. Repeated exposure might cause some symptoms but if you remove the stimulus the sx usually disappear rapidly.

now I hope this message goes to the right place.................but say the remedy was spilled on the floor, and even if wiped would each time a person stepped on it- would they get a dose? which would then mean repeated dosing of a remedy a person does not need?????????thx

spilled remedies?

definitely not. homeopathy is powerful but it's not magic.

I know there are "sensitives" out there who would be at risk of absorbing some of the energy - actually, I think this ought to be a symptom in itself, when extreme - but, in my experience and education, remedies which are not well-matched are not particularly apt to cause a disturbance in the vital force. There just isn't a "handle" for the body to recognize and act upon a remedy it doesn't need. I'd surely use normal caution handling them, but not worry about spillage, etc. Now, if it involved a 10M of a disease nosode, I might worry, and look for an antidote to have handy.

HI All,

Get very little time to contribute here but this caught my eye and I have a rare spare moment.

Interesting note to make about sensitives ;)

I mailed a sachet of a pillules, in a double plastic zip top and then also a sturdy envelope, of homoeopathic Aconite 200c to a client from Australia to the USA for her dog who needed it. She placed it beside her bedside to remind herself to dose her dog in the morning. The thing is, I learnt later that she herself was having some anxiety issues, heart palpitations and suchlike and after having slept near the remedy all night she wrote to me and said, "I don't know what you put it in that envelope but whatever it is I feel so much better this morning after having slept near it". She was very happy about it and was sure it was because of what was in the envelope! She queried me if it was possible it could have had an influence on her! On hearing her brief account of her own troubles it came as no real surprise ;)

I have a selection of horsey homoeopathic remedies in a wardrobe type cupboard/shelf thingo at the stable that my cat ONLY EVER sleeps on when he is ailing for something. Whatever of the remedies is in there, one of them seems to connect with him and transmit a vibrational match. He usually sleeps there for a day or two and then walks away totally recovered :) It appears that he has an instinct and vibrational sensitivity to guide him to lay there.

Another point of interest is when I am very busy and a remedy maybe slow at getting away in the mail to a patient, the case will be on my mind a lot and I am visualising the patient frequently as I process details in my brain…low and behold…often the patient is already feeling a change for the better before the dash remedy arrives, chuckle. Yes, its true that the consult itself can already set healing into play for some but the scenario described somehow feels different and I believe that I've already been transmitting the remedy's energy. Of course this result generally only happens when I've hit the correct remedy right on the head and for the more sensitive type cases ;)

As a last resort emergency, for a patient that has not a specific remedy at hand, I have had them write the remedy and potency on a piece of paper and place it under a glass of pure water with a clean saucer placed over the glass, leave for half an hour or so and then sip from that glass to get a result! Now I am NOT saying this is the way I would advise people to take remedies as a rule, only for times of need when there is no other option. I truly prefer to give an actual viable remedy to be sure of response, especially if there wasn't one! I'm not a fan of radionically dialled up remedies either, unless that is all that is available.

I am certain there are many other homoeopaths out there that have had similar experiences .

Kindly,
Tan.

To not rely upon convenient beliefs: the most straightforward way of being sure of inactivating a remedy spilt onto carpet may be to take a hot lamp (tungsten-carbide, halogen, ordinary incandescent) and bring it close enough to the area to briefly heat it to at least 70 degrees (Celcius). That temperature will inactivate it.

Great example of remedy power.
I had the opposite issue when I purchased a remedy, and not having a container with me, I tucked it under an elastic band against my skin and rode home. Totally forgot aout it till I started the proving symtoms:-)
