URGENT REQUEST PLEASE for COURT CASE - Homeopathy proofs o...

Post by John R. Benneth »

Irene,
Are you saying that the issue here is whether or not homeopathy works? Or is the issue that you're practicing homeopathic veterinarian medicine without a license? Don't most naturopathic vets in WA use homeopathy?
In any case, if you're looking for proofs of efficacy, the best you will find are in the biochemical tests, which are reviewed by Witt in 2007.
3/4's century of biochemical testing of homeopathic medicine . .

"The in vitro evidence for an effect of high homeopathic potencies—–A systematic review of the literature

Demolishes the placebo theory for homeopathy.

The exact accusation reads "Practicing veterinary medicine without a license" ......specifically "offered to treat an animal patient for a fee"

but over the weekend (received Sat night for answer noon Mon) I was addressing many claims including that my email to a prospective client was a "hoax" .....and from a "charlatan" ....with "self-confessed ineffective remedies"
There are no naturopathic vets in WA. At least not as a licensed profession.
Human Naturopathy only, is licensed or mentioned in any statute.
Thanks for the refs, good to have.

If you have these quackbuster types hounding you, you need someone like Tim

at your side. That really is his specialty

So efficacy doesn't have anything to do with it, does it?
Ullman got in a similar jam, and they dropped it with a caveat that he tell his future clients he wasn't a doctor and that they should be under the care of one while studying alternatives. There's a book out on this, legalities for lay homoeopaths. Call Dana, he can get you the book.
Consider this . . you're a consultant, you're studying homoeopathy together with your client. You are NOT treating the animal, for a fee or for free or anythijng else, you're consulting with the animal's owners on what they can do to treat the animal themselves, with the caveat that they should always be under the supervision of a licensed vet. Did you touch the animal, administer a dose or even examine it? Aren't you a consultant, helping them get information about homoeopathy for animals? Isn't what they do with the information you're studying with them up to them and is between them and their doctor?
