Viral meningitis is usually not a very dangerous disease (though the headdahe is frightening) and curable with Homoeopathy. Bell, gels Nat-s, or Apis depending on indications take care of most cases

Is there a difference between viral and bacterial meningitis?, the latter seems more dangerous...
Bacterial meningitis can cause swelling of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. The disease is fairly rare in the United States. Those who get it develop symptoms quickly and can die in a couple of days. Survivors can suffer mental disabilities, hearing loss and paralysis.

Does it matter if either Meningo####num is made with one strain, B or C, and used for the other strain?
Here, the USA is importing Euopean/Australian vaccine for type B because they only have vaccine for type C.

I would not recomment Homoeoprophylactics. They are usually not reliable at all. Even if a prophylactic works in one epidemic it will not work in the next. The only prophylaxiss that works is the genus epidemicus which changes from epidemic to epidemic. But for that you need to see quite a few patients.

About acute diseases we have had to treat the most dangerous diseases with homoeopathy and the results have been miracuilous. But again for these you need to see a lot of patients to understand how each disease and medicine works.

One dose of a low potency, if you can get it. Otherwise whatever potency's available. If you can't get Mening., take a dose of Belladonna and quit worrying about it.
