In my opinion, they can do so if they have resigned from GMC!
My big concern is that if a large enough numbers of medics get on board and into the membership, the whole agenda of SoH may change.
If places like the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital had been an absolute success, then I would not worried so much. But from what I have seen on TV programs on their methods of prescribing feels me with great fear that their way may one day become the standard of SoH.
The Faculty of Homeopathy does not allow non-medics to join them - so that is a good indication of the future trend!
My own encounter with the Queen's physician did not fill me with encouragement that I was being regarded as significant.
However, we did our best to rescue him during his debate with Ben Goldacre.
