So, Thursday night I took my first constitutional homeopathy in decades. It is RB 200. You may be unfamiliar with that remedy because my ND did not want me to know what it was and named it after me: Roger Bird. I am not sure why. Perhaps because I told him that I was not going to tell him what some dear on this forum prescribed because I did not want to bias him. Or, perhaps because he knows that I am so independent minded that I'd go investigate whatever remedy he prescribed for me and that might mess with my recovery. Hey, I don't know, really.

Anyway, I am so JAZZED about homeopathy. I have become a FREAK!!! about homeopathy. I am so excited. I spend much of my time reading about homeopathy, especially case histories and testimonials. If any of you sweeties know of where I can find more case histories and testimonials (without having to pay for them), please let me know.

One thing that I did not expect was that I am to take RB 200 three pellets every evening until I run out of the remedy. I thought that homeopathy was a once and wait thingie. My very first homeopathy some 96 year old dude who looked like he was 66 poured the gold ??C remedy into my mouth and I was no longer depressed within minutes. [And I so kick myself for not pursuing homeopathy with lots more vigor after that. That happened 44 years ago.] Perhaps someone can explain to me why I would be taking RB 200 for many days until I run out.

The very first thing that happened was that my constipation became so bad that I tried to pull 'it' out with my fingers, really. It was what one might call the "not shits" and it was painful and uncomfortable. Then my wife reminded my idiot self that we had enema equipment and that I knew how to use it. That solved the problem. But since then (36 hours ago), my constipation has been almost completely absent. My biggest problem was my pelvis pain due to L5-S1 coming together in an unholy kiss. That has not changed at all; in fact I go through ups and downs with that pain. But it has only been 62 hours, so I am sure that I won't get any improvement for a week at least.

Oh dear, I would not be recommending a dry dose every day until finished. One dose in water, or continuation with succussions would be more appropriate.

I would not be so quick to judge this prescription.
I have taken 200c daily for several months at a time with no proving or other negative impact.
Remember in each individual case—we don’t know Roger and what the practitioner saw in him.
Of course you could be right that a naturopath with little homeopathic training could be prescribing
in an allopathic manner, but we do not know.

what is RB?

If taking in water potency, and first dose reaction seen, then can prescribe on a daily basis, depends on what happens, but always monitoring

What did you take for several months in 200C Tanya?

You will be horrified I am sure, but did this with several different remedies over the years.
Carc 200c is one that sticks in my mind. it worked for about 7-9 months which for me is good.
While some symptoms returned, there were long term benefits on others.
I have also used Rhus v 200c several times daily for the most outrageous cases of poison ivy.
And that is what it took to get the outbreak under control. Probably over a 2 week period before
the PI began to die down. Today I work with 30c daily early on in the season which will build up
immunity after about 4-6 weeks. Next year I will try to remember to do this prophylactically in March
or early April before the PI season begins. This summer is my best regarding PI and I began the rx
at the first out breaks.
