new remedy?

Hi all, me again, different child now.... my 5yo son was prescribed
arsenicum 12c 2-3x day, part of his picture is: occasional anxiety,
to the point of borderline obsessive compulsive, self conscious
around new people, rigid, tempermental etc. While beginning this
remedy, and we were on vacation, he had a traumatic incident, where
he thought he was abandoned (couldnt see us) at a show (we could see
his back, but didnt realize he was upset). Immediately after this
fright, his anxiety worsened, still in BOUTS, (not constant or
debilitating), but in 2 strange new arenas: 1} he looks at me and
asks "are YOU my mommy?" sometimes a few times in a row. He NEEDS to
hear me say yes, i cant joke around. 2.) Whenever I attempt to leave
our home (jogging, driving) he gets very upset and insists I cant
leave (understandably) my being outside is fine, just not leaving
the home area. I DO leave however,(sneak away) and he is distressed
for a few seconds, then is fine. SO for my homeopathic question:
Should his whole case be reevaluated based on this anxiety symptom
becoming stronger, or is the ars. enough to cover this, as anxiety
was one of the presenting symptoms anyway?? Please advise, I will
be calling homeo on Monday to check, but thoughts are
appreciated. Heide
