Learning from the garden, I find it possible to use some remedies to repel bugs in the soil.
I spray Osimum over the unplanted soil to repel pill bugs. I don’t see the remedy affecting
the soil as a total body. The remedy only affects the immediate area that is sprayed; it
the effect does not go beyond the immediate area. Other remedies are fed to the plants
directly, at the roots, to affect them constitutionally. It feels similar to putting calendula
on a wound or rubbing arnica into a sore muscle. Not constitutional but works on the
immediate tissue to which it is applied.
So I can see a remedy applied to the skin as a repellent to a bug without having any internal
constitutional affect.

But any remedy, nosode or not, always acts on the client (if susceptibility is present) and nosodes don't necessarily provide a protective effect.

We can look to agrohomeopathy as an example - potentised aphid will not deter aphids no matter how it is prepared or applied whereas potentised cocchinella (their predator, the ladybird) will.

Ahhh - so many remedies, so much research needed, so little time.

Dear Maria,
I put a few drops in a 4 oz spray bottle with spring or filtered water like Dasani but not chlorinated tap water.
When bed bugs invaded my apartment building, the spray kept them off of me, unfortunately only professional chemical insecticides eliminated them. Now I carry a spray bottle for use in public areas.
A chemical extract, Geraniol, is also used in commercial bed bug sprays
I found these sachets made in Inda (click on Colibiri) for closets, drawers in Whole Foods.
They offer geranium, lavender and cedarwood, each blended with eucalyptus, vetiver, peppermint, clove and lemongrass with the essential oil in coconut shell powder. Lovely scents.

or snail, etc? how would you begin to prepare it for potentizing/

I am sending any specimen I want to potentise to my pharmacist, it is his specialisation and his job to do it............

Not joking here, I want my remedies to be made perfectly and professionally according to all the strictest rules and not amateurishly as I would do it and do at times when I really need something right now.
