Re: What about rabies vaccine?
If bitten by an animal considered a risk, I would find it a really tough thing to consider.
FWIW, years back when my then-toddler son was bitten by a wild mouse--which we were unable to catch, no surprise--our doc said that for reasons unknown, apparently rodents do not transmit rabies, even if they have it. (I wonder whether it could be because rabies passes through the saliva, and a rodent's teeth are hanging out in the air, probably not a hospitable environment for an organism that passes through the saliva--but that's only my musing). So we did not have him get the shots.
But if it had been a bat or raccoon (hm, aren't those rodents? have to look that up because bats certainly do pass it), or even an unknown and un-findable dog, I might have opted to put him through it. Even tho my family (human and otherwise) does not get any vaccinations or any other "chemical preventatives." I would love to understand rabies better! There *must* be a way to cure it homeopathically, but I have not yet read about one. (Will keep hoping, tho!)
Is there a particular reason you're thinking about rabies, or just informational? (A good thing to think about ahead of time, IMO!)

Re: What about rabies vaccine?
Hello Shannon,
The 49% failure rate is for vaccinated animals who went on to develop rabies post exposure. The efficacy of the rabies shot is worse than the numbers for the pertussis vaccine.
I will try to find the link on the Texas Dept of Health website. They have re-arranged the whole site so it is currently a stubborn link to find. It was being posted early last year by my vet in Austin who was brave enough to at least for a short while pass this information out to her customers. Then she got the call and has since resumed her position of silence.
Best regards,
Rik

"This is the model you are holding up and believing in? If this is the kind of allopathic care and "science" you wish to support on this particular chat group then you better believe there will be blowback. If you wish to take part in this pseudo-science that is fine of course. But there are entirely too many people on this list who see the perils and weaknesses of the allopathic model and the utter failure of vaccines everyday in our practice to keep marching to the allopathic drumbeat."
Rik,
Most of us don't have a military background and haven't been in combat where the it's destroy the enemy or be destroyed mentality may be prevalent.
I don't think the original founders of innoculations/vaccines were thinking like today's big pharma in $$$ terms and combining many vaccines into one. They were scientists, not pseudo, who had ideas to help.
Neither do I think Hahnemann was thinking how classical homeopathy could be morphed and twisted into making $$$ by taking any substance to a ??X and combining some of them, then selling them as "homeopathic" because the cachet sounds more healing than not. Or calling any herbal/natural product homeopathic to boost it's income potential.
If ALL vaccinations were immediately stopped, are you saying there would be NO outbreak of ANY disease that vaccine is used for?
There would be no smallpox, no measles, no rubella, no DPT, ...?
Rabies looks like a near perfect way to test whether the vaccine concept works or not. Easy to control exposure to it.
Since most pet owners with vaccinated animals never have them exposed to rabid animals, bats, etc. there is no way to know if this vaccine really is effective.
Thus, we just take 10 dogs/cats vaccinated, 10 dogs/casts non-vaccinated, put them in a room, with bats and see which animals become rabid.
While his may not be the most humane way of testing, if shown that the rabies vaccine doesn't work, we are only sacrificing upto 20 animals to prove the rabies vaccine is useless.
This would save future generations of dogs/cats from taking this harmful vaccine.
The vaccinated "test" animals can come from a shelter where they are scheduled to be euthanized, a daily/weekly occurence at many.
If they become rabid, they would be euthanized as they were to anyway. They wouldn't need to suffer as only the first signs of rabies would be necessary.
If most of the vaccinated dogs/cats live while most non-vaccinated die, it shows there is some effectiveness to the vaccine.

Re: What about rabies vaccine?
The concept of vaccines is ludicrous. No way can disease be prevented by the use of this insane and barbaric process.
Vaccines emerge from Nazi laboratories as an effort to continue to reduce the population of the world. What better way to make money by draining your victim of his assets prior to killing him. No need for concentration camps and messy cleanup logistics. Simply let them volunteer to take an injection that will eventually rid the vermin from the face of the planet. That is the purpose of vaccines. Allopathic medical doctors are trained serial killers. Many even know it but don't care because of the extreme wealth that they can generate through their nefarious practices. No oncologist would ever take the treatments he dispenses because he knows that the methods don't work.
I cover vaccines in my two articles that are and will appear in the Nov/Dec and Jan/Feb issues of Crusador Magazine. Those in the U.S. and Canada can receive a free sample printed copy by contacting:
questions@healthtruthrevealed.com Be sure to include your name and full mailing affress. I have not authorized the transmission of the articloe electronically thus you must obtain a printed copy.

Re: What about rabies vaccine?

There is a social science concept known as Cognitive Dissonance. This refers to how people cannot handle information that goes against their
deeply held belief systems. Religion is not the only belief system that people hold --actually it is a most minimal one especially when compared
with their belief in the allopathic medical industry. If you cannot confront your belief systems and recognize that they are there due to socialization
as opposed to real, meaningful education, then there is no way to have a discussion with you about these issues.
Several people here, myself included, noted the failure rate of vaccines, including the rabies vaccine. This failure is sharply evidenced by the data
on animals who are vaccinated and then succumb to rabies infection.
It has also been noted that the CDC itself has acknowledged that autism is caused by vaccines and that vaccines cause all kinds of other serious
conditions. And these are only the relatively immediate reactions; they do not inlcude the long-term chronic effects of the vaccine.
But you insist on pushing this defective notion that vaccines work and do no harm.
Then you push a study that subjects dogs to horrible infection as if that is humane because they may be euthanized. The Tuskgeegee syphylus study on
African Americans and Native Tribes has been exposed for its blatant cruelty and eugenics nature. But you see nothing wrong with your ides.
I don't know who you are or what your background is, but goddess help anyone coming to you for assistance!

Re: What about rabies vaccine?
Tanya,
What is your problem or possible disability? Maybe that year long whooping cough had lasting effects?
Since you found organic butter at Wegman's too expensive and need to ask strangers to split a 4 pack due to it's relative higher price, that suggests you are on a fixed SSD/I income.
Thus you have lots of time on your hand to fantasize and create your personal agenda then try to paint those who may diagree with or question you as shills for big pharma or quacks.
I suggest you go to Costco, or ask someone who has a membership there, where 2 lbs of salted organic butter is $7.49 and you can return any part of it for a full refund.
(I just exhibited the Benjamin Franklin effect of Cognitive Dissonance, for those who care)
How revealing that you still don't have a clue to my background but others here do.
Why is that? Is it because you are not here to learn about nor help anyone, only to push your own conspiracy theories on others?
Do you experience other memory losses, been tested for signs of early Alzheimers or possible dementia since I've repeatedly discussed for years my travails through allopathy AND classical homeopathy? Is selective reading it's own disorder?
What is it that you can't remember or refuse to?
To remind you, I took an LM7 now 9 succussions today.
Certainly someone who has Cognitive Dissonance towards allopathy wouldn't do that, would they?
Of course, I also took an injection of Byetta, a $400/month diabetes miracle drug, that works wonder for diabetes where no homeopathic remedy has yet to do so. I only paid $42/month for the drug due to the cost effective USA medical insurance pharma drug system, in 2012 I have to pay $45. Darn that Obamacare!
I also took 850mg metformin, a cheap generic to brandname Glucophage. That helps provide energy into my insulin resistant mitochondria. When one's fasting blood glucose is 250, one must do what they have to reduce it and temporarily suspend their zealous goddess-like beliefs that homeopathy will cure you. Does Cogntive Dissonance allow for survival of the fittest?
" If you cannot confront your belief systems and recognize that they are there due to socialization
as opposed to real, meaningful education, then there is no way to have a discussion with you about these issues."
Is it possible your only socialization is the internet? Anti-social behavior can be caused through isolation and other variables that can cause a person to exert the symptoms of an Anti-Social Personality Disorder. It is now known that the Internet can be a cause for anti-social behavior.
Speaking of "meaningful education"....
What is your use, knowledge, schooling in homeopathy? Need I look at your post history and likely see you have none or little relating to it?
Have you taken any courses, seminars, lectures in homeopathy?
I graduated The Five Elements Center taught by Jane Cicchetti. Do people with Cognitive Dissonance towards allopathy do that?
Which homeopathy school have you attended?
Looking at the definition of Cogntive Dissoance, it seems you are the one really suffering from it and you blatantly use this forum to find relief from it instead of using homeopathy:
By sharing cult beliefs with others, they gained acceptance and thus reduced their own dissonance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_dissonance
Maybe by repeating a statement you hope it becomes true, a similar tactic Hitler used to exterminate Jews
"But you insist on pushing this defective notion that vaccines work and do no harm."
I never made either statement, I question the notion that 100% of vaccines don't work, and 100% those taking vaccines are harmed.
And I question what would happen if all vaccinations stopped immediately. I question unnecessary vaccines for non-lethal conditions and number of vaccines taken that may unduly challenge the immune system. I never questioned that vaccines have become a big $$$ maker.
The concept that homeopathy is 100% harmless is also a falsehood. I've certainly had many severe aggravations, from the LM prescriber who instructed I take a few sips a day from the same unsuccussed dilution cup. to Dr. Ramakrishnan's 200C dry repetitive overdosing.
Who knows what irreparable harm was done to my vital force?
I watched the Westminster Kennel Dog Show or other brand on Thanksgiving Day. Those vaccinated purebred dogs looked pretty healthy! As are most vaccinated dogs and cats I've seen in my lifetime.
You or Rik/Richard have yet to provide any links to data supporting your claims, only word of mouth, heresay.
My brief GOOGLE research shows the issue with the rabies vaccine is too frequent repetition of it that can be harmful, not that is 100% ineffective
"It has also been noted that the CDC itself has acknowledged that autism is caused by vaccines and that vaccines cause all kinds of other serious conditions. "
Really? Provide that link, otherwise you've twisted words around to support your personal viewpoint. The CDC did pay legal claims on DPT vaccine damage without admitting guilt.
Here's what the CDC really says:
The importance of vaccine safety will continue to grow throughout the 21st century. The development and licensure of new vaccines will add to the already complicated immunization scheduling . Scientists may also perfect new ways of administering immunizations including edible vaccines and needleless injections. However they are formulated or delivered, vaccines will remain the most effective tool we possess for preventing disease and improving public health in the future. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/Vaccin ... .html#ref4
Just think, you can now worry about future edible vaccines surreptitiously put into foods and not labeled, like rBgh milk is and "raw" almonds pasteurized 4 hours in propylene oxide, a suspected carcinogen required to by the FDA and also unlabeled. I feel another conspiracy a-coming.
"then there is no way to have a discussion with you about these issues"
You previously wrote you were going to ignore me, hopefully you can keep your word. Walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
I'm not primarily here to engage with you in conspiracy theories, rather see actual real data, concrete evidence, vs. anecdotal and further rumor mongering.
"I don't know who you are or what your background is, but goddess help anyone coming to you for assistance!"
You couldn't care less, only about further rumor mongering and disparagement seemingly unabated. Now go hang your Newt 2012 posters on the Xmas tree.
