What of nerve power, as prostration, exertion, loss of mental vigour,

offensive diarrhoea or dysentry, typhoid incontinuance of urine, urticarea,
dizzines an vertigo from nervous exhaustion, coated tongue. It also heals
leucorrhoea. Dr. Wedtz writes "I have always prescribed Kali Phos 2x for
normal school students whose mental faculties seemed to "Funk" at
examination time."

Useful in all conditions accompanied by yellow discharge such as bronchitis,

It causes contraction in muscular fibres and hence its use in cramps,

with a greasy, waxy, shining skin. Eats well, yet does not put on any flesh.

Dear Mr Bhandari,
I'm dismayed that you've sought to promote a range of such products as Thuja ointment "for warts"; alfalfa "tonic"; and laxatives and other vile allopathic medicines as having a close connection with the only medical practice that does not prescribe on the basis of a particular symptom, let alone on the basis of seeking to oppose that symptom.
The practice of homoeopathy, as I'm amazed you don't seem to realise, is the use of the single, simple medicine that is the closest known mimic of the patient's entire state -- as determined by the results of pathogenetic trials. Such practice is not possible using ointments "for warts" or "for" any other thing; is not possible using any medicine whose primary pathogenetic action to oppose any symptom of particular interest; and is not possible using any medicine who primary pathogenetic action is simply unknown. Yet nearly all on your list fall into at least one of these categories.
Please promote such rubbish elsewhere if it pleases you. It does not belong, however, on any list devoted to homoeopathy, as it may mislead beginners into believing it has some relevance to the practice.

What, may I ask John, is wrong with Thuja ointment? If it is Thuja that you see is the Simillimum, what is wrong with applying it in ointment form?

Dear Jeff,

It was Hahnemann's observation that, in certain very limited circumstances, and in only the most inveterate cases of sycosis to which Thuja is the simillimum, moistening the figwarts with an external application of a 50% alcoholic solution of the pure juice pressed from the green leaves of Thuja might prove necessary to completion of the cure: the cure of the patient's entire sycosis.

Do you consider promotion of Thuja ointment "for warts" as meeting that condition, or do you imagine that it more easily meets that class of all other conditions -- under which Hahnemann expressly forbade any homoeopath stupid enough to consider it from applying an external remedy in order to "cure" an internal (i.e. systemic) illness?

Given that anybody (and, in all likelihood, everybody) who buys Thuja ointment "for warts" will not have undergone rigorous internal treatment by their antisycotic simillimum, Thuja or something else, what justification could you suggest for offering Thuja of any description "for warts"?

If have to give Thuja for warts I give a plastic dropper bottle with MT for external

I have seen lots of mails .. criticising .. advising .. and all that .. and I wonder why do we have to get into all that .
I am sure that each one of us have some .. more or less .. common sense to decide to select the medicines/remedies ..
but I sure welcome this here .. at least it helps something better than Nothing.. especially about availability .. whether you take it as promotion .. or otherwise .
I just wish and hope that less criticism and playing smart will save every body's time here ..
which can be used to by others .. The Principles of Homeopathy .. and the criticism I have read .. in the past .. especially in the case of use of remedies by Dr. Burnett .. guides me to avoid getting into it ..
Select what you think is correct .. and leave everything else for those who have to decide further.

Dear Manjit,
It's certainly possible that distinguishing between advocacy of random prescription and advocacy of homoeopathic principle is unfairly discriminatory and unnecessary; it's certainly possible that all prescriptions of "homoeopathic" medicines intended to be curative will be so.
Granting the wish that such a fairy tale represent reality, would it alter the appropriateness of recommending random (i.e. allopathic) prescriptions on this list?
I hope it's evident that it would not.
