Off Topic
Re: Off Topic
I like doing two or three things at once while I am on the computer.
Yesterday I was reading emails from Minutus. I was also playing Scrabble against the online computer. The computer spat out the word "allopathy".
So, today I was listening to that young oboe player from Lithuanian that I shared with you-all yesterday. The Scrabble computer spat out the word "oboe".
I am not making this up. At some point coincidence has to be ruled out. I am unsure if I have reached that point yet. (:->)

Nothing strange about it Roger... they are reading your e-mails (our e-mails... all of them) and they send it to the corporations that PAY them for it. It happens to me all the time.

Re: Off Topic
so I was searching YouTube for a Jackson Browne album (to illustrate some point or another, under the understanding that Hahnemann is channeling the 7th ed. of his Organon through contemporary rock & roll musicians), and it came up with a pre-video ad of Pat Boone selling walk-in tubs … guess they had my demographics figured out … ;^(

Roberta Flack: The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face
Johnny Nash: I Can't See Clearly Now
Paul Simon: Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver
Commodores: Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom
Marvin Gaye: I Heard it Through the GrapeNuts
Procol Harem: A Whiter Shade of Hair
Leo Sayer: You Make Me Feel Like Napping

Re: Off Topic
thanks!
weathered a hemorrhagic stroke, knocking out my right basal ganglia and leaving me briefly hemiplegic & Parkinsonian, back in September. Am recovering rather remarkably, and pursuing my own online teaching project (continuing education, and soon, a comprehensive homeopathic educational program), now independent of association with WholeHealthNow. On my own course support site, at:
http://courses.homstudies.com
Coming this next Tuesday will be a soon-to-start 6-week course, on Understanding & Working with Infectious & Epidemic Diseases of Childhood (RSV, rotovirus, chickenpox, measles, &c.), at:
http://courses.homstudies.com/course/view.php?id=7 (you’ll first need to set up a user account on the site, if you don’t already have one, and log in, to access the course
description and/or registration viaPayPal). Tuesdays, 2-4pm US Pacific time. (Note that this is different from the WholeHealthNow site, on which I’ve taught in the past. If it looks similar, that’s because I created and served as IT manager for both of them).
Time & date in your timezone: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... 1=202&ah=2
All courses are open to live and/or self-paced participation on your own time schedule.
Good to “see” so many familiar folks (if not faces) here. It’s been a long time.
