Re: any experience in RENAL COLIC ?
Dear Fahimeh,
I am also doing research into homeopathy but not using the assumption that
efficacy is identical with greater than placebo. I am using placebo only so
I, the researcher, don't know which group are getting the remedy to remove
any question marks over my integrity as I will doing the outcome measures
(temperatures). I have written an article on placebo which I am attaching.
Please note it is copyrighted.
For a start "no treatment", if there isn't one, is more realistic as nobody
is going to use placebo for such a disorder in real life. The other option
is "standard treatment". There are so many rigourous trials showing
homeopathy exceeds placebo - they don't do any good, everybody ignores them.
Jennifer Jacobs (a well-known American homeopathic medical researcher) has
just published an article about this.
Kind regards,
Sue Muller
