If you have time do look at the papaver family that Sankaran writes about; hell like state, extreme suffering, connected to death and dying, guilt, punishment (devil/evil) war, need to escape (through sleep - valium) by means of becoming numb to the agony, fright and shock, alternating states (mania), profound depression and many of them have an increased sexual energy (fixating on famous people, becoming passionate) and this can be part of the alternating mania - deep depression then happy but unreal passion.
We tend to think only of a few papavers such as opium, chelidonium or morphinum but he reminds us there are at least 20 rx in this family.
