Buddleia - Madeleine Evans
Opens up people spiritually. Trauma Rx like Arnica Syphillinum, Sandalwood.
Is called Arnica for the soul.

Fear of change and moving forward. Children that come in, in a state of
trauma. Insomnia. Sandalwood for children who don't sleep and in a state of
shock - give 200+.

Use Bud. after Arnica. Acute shock and grief, which brings up chronic shock
from the past and therefore deals with past shock and grief with other
remedies. Combination Rx Arn/Bud/Syph - deep old shock. Shock of the birth
the 2nd child by the 1st child.

Affinity for injuries to the head including birth trauma from labour.

People in a coma.

When development stops following a shock. Protects before a general
anaesthetic. Give in 200. After the op give after Arnica. Fear of going
into hospital. Children with anticipatory fear.

People who are fearful of taking the next step forward.
(Fear death - Sandalwood, purple, Buddleia.) Helps during death, when
fearful.

Difficult birth - Buddleia during and after.

It releases deeply held grief and pain in the heart and throat when Nat Mur
doesn't work. When patients are traumatised and they don't see it. People
exposed to horrid things with a sense of detachment and isolation. Post
Traumatic Stress.

Trauma - absent father. Belief that their father is someone else. People who
feel that they are not part of the family. (Holly). (Traumatised by Mother -
Holly, Lac Humanum)

Sexual abuse - criticised as a child and those who had to hide who they were
though fear.

Burdened by stress despair by life's difficulties. People who have a major
life crisis.

Children who can't think - stare vacantly. Helps Down's syndrome.

Brain tumours and growths in the head, ears, and eyes including cataracts
and tumours in and behind the eyes.

Fear of dentists and the aftermath of treatment.

Spine and skeletal structure, arthritis, muscle and tendon damage. Give low
and repeated.

Thyroid - where the pituitary is involved.

Is there any postings anywhere of the Provings of Buddleia? I have attempted searching on the Internet to no avail & it does not exist in my MacRepertory software so I would *guess* this a recently proven flower...

Dear Pat,

Buddleia is a meditatively proved Rx and is one done by Madeleine Evans I
think although it is not in her book. There is a write up of the Rx in the
journal Prometheus No 11 December 1999.
It is called Arnica of the Soul and I've got lots more of the same sort of
thing on the computer from various lectures I have been to on it. These
meditative Rx are often used as intercurrents to a constitutional Rx. I have
used this one in the recommended 1M for 3 consecutive days a couple of times
with panicky patients and they felt that it helped.

Thank you Rochelle! After I did not hear back from you right away I decided to go SEARCHing further and located that Book Review on the website that you mention... Then I understood about the Meditative Provings work which I have heard about before but have no real knowledge of... I found it most interesting... especially to read that you have actually prescribed it with (some?) success... I can certainly understand this form of Provings' merits when used akin to Traditional Provings... and as you can tell I am fairly new to Homeopathy & I am enjoying each days' new learning experience... I recently enrolled back into the Devon school & am enjoying being swamped with all of the materials...

As your posting time permits I would love to read more of your notes from this series... Thanks again!

I have used it on various occasions. It is called the Arnica of the Soul!! I
often give it as an intercurrent. I tend to use 1M or 30. I can't recall
specific cases as it is a while since I used it but it often does the trick
together with whatever else I am giving the patient.

My poor ol' left brain is still struggling with this!!
It does sound like it could be *so* often valuable, yet the indications
seem so fuzzy. (Or maybe it's just me that's fuzzy! ) Do you
notice or look for any particular response to the dose, or seen it to
have any *particular* effects? Or is it more of a "general indications
and it seems like it helps" situation? (Right brain. Left brain.
Right... Left... )
