Tanya,
Get a list of his medications, and the book Drug induced Nutrient Depletion handbook by Pelton, LaValle, and Hawkins. You’ll quickly see that the drugs alone are responsible for most if not all of the Parkinson’s symptoms by causing gross depletions in Bs and other vital nutrients for brain and nerve function. You can do some work to supplement and you’ll most likely see a reduction in symptoms. At that point, homeopathy can be used on a ‘picture in front of you’ basis. That picture will change drastically with the drugs – so it will need close monitoring. I’ve also found Bach Flower remedies help – since this process is a roller coaster ride for the emotions (biochemically in the patient’s brain and from the actions of caregivers and family).
The second biggest problem with the current drugs is that they almost always cause constipation – which exaggerates the nutrition problems (preventing absorption, and producing a toxic load for the liver).
Basically – you are waging war against the pharmaceuticals through this entire process. But it can be done.

Subject: [Minutus] parkinson's question
Has anyone worked with Parkinson's disesase. Had a man, late 60's, call me about his
condition. It is complicated with a stomach cancer and COPD. He has been on Carbidopa Levodapa 25/100
for 8 yrs. His tremors have gotten worse over the years with this medication which has a side effect of causing
Parkinsons.
Am trying to assess whether I can offer any real help to this man. He is very anxious but low key.

Re: Parkinson's question
thanks for this info. I know what you say is true--I just needed some focus on getting the 'facts' about it.
This poor guy has been jigged around by the medical industry for years now with no relief and only worsening of the
problems. I am sure his cancer is related to all the stress of this plus the toxicity of the drugs.

Re: Parkinson's question
Probably 80% of my cases at this point are those who have been heavily ‘into’ the pharmaceutical/surgical medical system for 6+ years – some as long as 30+years. They are literally ‘sick’ and tired of the system (and from the system) – getting worse after each short rally brought about by pharmaceuticals or procedures. These cases require a great deal of patient education and support – but they can have very positive outcomes. Between nutrition, Bach Flowers, stress control (anything from yoga to biofeedback, massage to Reiki) and good basic homeopathy – it is very possible to have immediate comfort, renewal of hope, and real healing. It is not easy – and definitely requires more case management then is economically practical – but it does work.

A little intimidating, but encouraging. This man in particular will need a lot of hand holding if I take on the case.

Re: Parkinson's question
Another important homeopathic factor is where the timeline and disease status fits in - as one more serious disease should replace another but of course with so many drugs replicating the disease this is a really mixed up state.
There is plenty of info out there regarding the main drug he is taking and as long as when you take the case you can ascertain whether sx are prone 'naturally' or have been induced by the drugs, then you will have a strong beginning in making an accurate analysis of the case.
