HIV and AIDS theories

Post by R »

I would recommend that folks read Prof. Duesberg's book on the subject, "Infectious AIDS", and another book about him called "Oncogenes, Aneuploidy, and AIDS". After all he received the Nobel Prize for his work on retroviruses.

Dr Mullis who won the Nobel Prize for developing PCR feels that its use for AIDS antibody testing is an egregious misuse of the technology. Most of us are under the misapprehension that AIDS antibody testing is cut and dried science. Its not.

AIDS is, I believe, still considered a syndrome (hence the letter S in AIDS). Has a paper been written yet that conclusively applies Koch's theorem to the HIV viri? I would love to read it. Pls send the citation.

There is a great book by a mathematician called "Science Sold Out" about the science and statistics behind the "AIDS epidemic" that I recommend also.

Who says that H. Coulter's theory is "debunked"? Essentially he is saying its the syphilitic miasm, using acceptable mainstream terminology.

Obama won a Nobel Peace prize.
Shockley won Nobel Physics prize for the transistor, later promoted eugenics, "Shockley explained that his goal was "the application of scientific ingenuity to the solution of human problems." Shockley believed that the higher rate of reproduction among the less intelligent was having a dysgenic effect, and that a drop in average intelligence would ultimately lead to a decline in civilization. Shockley advocated that the scientific community should seriously investigate questions of heredity, intelligence and demographic trends, and suggest policy changes if he was proven right
Shockley reasoned that because intelligence (like most traits) is inherited, the black population would, over time, become much less intelligent countering all the gains that had been made by the Civil Rights movement.
Should we blindly believe and promote someone just because they won a Nobel Prize?

I'd say blindly following one article published anonymously could be deadly too. "M18" said he would publish more and hasnt. There is a lot more to Duesberg's argument and others (he is not alone). Why dont you read the sources that I mention?

I didnt mention that they had Nobel prizes to close the discussion, just to indicate that there were intelligent people on the other side of this discussion too.

I am still waiting to see the citation for how HIV meets Koch's theorem. Seriously, I would love to read it, if it exists. It would be nice to see this really laid to rest. I dont have any particular attachment the theories, one way or the other. I just have read enough of alternative views to be skeptical of the mainstream.

In Science Sold Out the author describes how an AIDS antibody test is performed. First step they have to dilute the blood 500x or otherwise _everyone_ would test HIV positive. etc. etc. Does not give me a lot of confidence in even that process.

despite much press, duesberg is not that isolated in his theories. there are many scientists that have signed a letter questioning the current 'popular' theory of aids.
but even duesberg, et al seem to steer clear of the idea that this is a man made condition easily spread via vaccination. there is considerable evidence that this is so.
