Are we having a poll
)
He's one of my favourites as far as MM goes. Good teacher too in that respect.
That's so funny John, I know a typo but a great new name for the sceptics - we can call them 'septics' instead, really suits them

The statement is that he is '*widely considered*....' Not *the* greatest homeopath. That is absolutely fine to say, and has truth in it. Your opinion has truth for others. Many can be considered 'greatest living homeopaths' who are doing magnificent work.

Sheri--it depends on the circles you run in.
Where I used to live, and where I got my start in homeopathy, I think there would have been wide agreement with that. Some of our very prominent (at least US) homeopaths have been avid students of his, and the ones I was familiar with at that time were *very* well trained indeed. Infallible? Nope. Perfected human beings? Nope. But darned good homeopaths? I would say yes, based on my experiences, and based on what I was hearing from others.
Whether they are still "following" him I have no idea; but what's the value of sniping over this? He's done wonderful work; he's trained some excellent practitioners; he's been hard at it for decades--what's the value in making a "beauty contest" of it? We have *many* wonderful teachers. Why not just leave it there?

(Biting back several replies)
Why is my opinion and experience worth (in your opinion) so much less than yours?
This kind of remark is only part of why I hardly post anything here any more--but it *is* a part. What a dumb comment.
Have fun, go back to your icon-bashing.
If you think this kind of thing does homeopathy any service, well (biting back several more comments)
Never mind, you know my opinion. I wish the moderator *would* moderate, but the group owner has chosen otherwise, so I'm out of luck.
Have fun.

I have always thought Shannon an advocate of fairness and tolerance, Jean
Re: Come join me at George Vithoulkas Teleconference on Homeopathy World Community
Not the group moderator, a voice of reason. Why is nearly everything turned into a P____ contest, or argument or down right nastiness on this list ?? Everyone on the planet is entitled to his or her opinion, right or wrong. Not everything said requires a comment. I wonder about the judgmental attitude of many on this list, read something about people who judge everyone and everything are burnt out. It would be awful if that were true here, since we need all the good practitioners we can get in this field.

we like opinions but not to be told to leave a discussion yet again - no-one is doing anything to Shannon so why inflate a situation again - so much double standards
