Hi Priscilla Tan,
I m Bob Lim MD[Am],DHMS, BHMS from Malaysia nearer to your country. I m a practising homeopath. We have more homeopaths here. About your knee problems, i have similar problems , years before and the doctors and accupuncturist my friend recommended said the same things like wear and tear and prescribe glucosamine. i stop taking that when i find they have side effect. Thought it was the end of the road for me, for they said ballroom dancing may aggavate the wear and tear of my knees. Advise me to stop dancing.
But i persisted and continue dancing. No paracetamol, no glucosamine,..Today Thanks to homeopathy and alternative theraphy and some functional food, my knees are well again. i can squat without problems now, the tendonitis at the joints have healed amazingly. Your condition and your son is reversible. There is still hope to you folks out there .
Now i m back at competitive dancesport with amazing fury and fire . dance like young boys again. i can waltz , tango, quickstep, and even do jive, cha cha cha, samba, rock and roll without my knees suffering any pain later. Praise God i m so happy for this knowlege and healing therapy. Contact me and i may share with you more about this healing experience & technology. you may contact me at drboblim@yahoo.com. or drboblim@gmail.com

Hi Gail - I have a question about your comment
"For a long time Hahnemann worked successfully prescribing for symptom cure (which is what tissue salts do) but after a while he realised that over time patients kept coming back, gradually getting chronically sicker."
Is this thought of as palliative?

Re: Tissue Salts
Yep.
Handling symptoms *while the underlying (in this case chronic) disease continues on its course."
That's *not* the same as suppression, but in the mentioned situation the end result is similar. (Not identical; the relief and support of good palliation is certainly preferable to letting disease run unchecked--or at least so I would think.)
