Obama sounds like your typical politician. Personally I thought that
people who thought some brave new world was going to arrive now that
Obama was in power, were living in cloud cuckoo land: he would never
have been able to get to the level that he did, if that had been the
case. But that doesn’t mean that someone can know that he definitely
wouldn’t have given a vaccine or would only have given a certain type.

Many years ago I used to be involved in animals rights and the
opposition of vivisection. There were many very intelligent people
involved, people who knew all about the tricks that the drug companies
played; they knew how foolish it was to test a substance on an animal
and expect that to give results relevant to humans; they knew that drugs
companies are only interest in products that they can patent, thus
getting all the profits; they knew about the horrendous suffering that
went on in labs, and yet what did these people do when they became ill?
They dashed off to the doctors and had those same dangerous substances
pumped into them. Personally I thought that they were a bunch of brain
dead morons, but the reality was that they were well educated people who
knew all the facts and could very eloquently argue against allopathic
drugs. Sadly when the fear of disease walked in the door, commonsense
went completely out of the window. They weren’t part of some
conspiracy; they were just people who let emotions get the better of
them instead of going with logic.

Homeopaths of all people should know that there are many factors as to
why people behave in certain ways, and those factors are not always
malicious.

I agree with many of your points Kerry. I always talk about faith based behavior:
behavior that is learned cellularly, usually at very young ages. It defies logic.
That is why we see the contradictions that you describe. It is also what we try
to do in homeopathy--undo cellular learning to allow more rational learning to occur.
This type of cellular learning is no different than faith based religions. We can't argue
with those kinds of beliefs--they defy logic. Look at the arguments against abortion--
Religous beliefs are used as the force of argument against a woman's right to chose.
But I recently had this born again christian guy tell me that the bible does not prohibit
abortion at all. That was a shock to me to hear him say that!
It is this type of learning that concerns people about education. It is why the Nazis
claimed control over the children and had them turn their parents in to the authorities.
They were breaking those bonds in order to control their socialization. It is no
different in this country, or any other. Public education is desirable for a simple
solution for mass social manipulation. So much for all those social progressives
who fought for public education as an uplifting of humanity.
And Obama is just a politician and only 1 person. Countries like the USA are run
by large numbers of people who form a loose oligarchy. The president goes along
or gets creamed. Look what happened to Kennedy and Clinton when they went up
against the Powers. One was part of the ruling elite, the other a newcomer, but both
went down due to the least bit of confrontation and non-team playing.

There's news all over the world about bad results in both regular and H1N1 shots. I've seen articles on 2 children dying, the case of Deseree, plenty more abroad. My point was, would they REALLY risk that reaction in the president's children with the real thing? Not likely.

There is also news of people dying from the flu - would they really want
to risk that? Because we would behave in a certain doesn't mean to say
that others would, even if they are the president.

Someone I know recently bought a puppy; they took it to the vets and
got it vaccinated. Within hours that puppy was seriously ill and within
days it was dead. They have gone out and got themselves another puppy.
What do you think they would do about vaccination? Not go near it with a
barge pole? Sadly their answer was to change vets and get a different
vet to give the vaccination! Just because Obama is president doesn't
mean to say he is going to act anymore logically than these people. We
can have no idea whatsoever what Obama or any other person in power
would do and just because our beliefs don't tally with their actions
doesn't mean they are misleading the public.

People die daily from many causes. The miniscule number of deaths related to flu
is not news worthy. The epidemic rates of autism are but we get no national pronouncements.
40,000 deaths from vioxx got little attention. 10's of 1000s of breast cancer victims annually
makes no headlines. Poisoning of the public with flouride in water is a totally silent event.
The list of horrors perpetuated on the population is enormous, but people get sucked into
this bogus argument about whether anyone has suffered a flu related death?
There are real questions to be looke at and that is the nature of the power play that is
ongoing for global control of resources and the population. The flu debacle is of note
only insofar as it informs us of how the increasing power grab is being played out and
the real effect it has on human and environmental health. Other than that, we as practitioners
need to be concerned with how we heal people from the flu as from other befallments, to
use a Hahneman word.

I agree Tanya that many people die daily for all sorts of reasons and
each individual is going to decide what aspect is most important to
them. Sadly not everyone agrees with our views and they won't make the
same decisions as we do. But that doesn't make them liars; it just means
that they have different priorities and perspectives to us. Unless we
actually know the facts we shouldn't cloud the issues with our personal
biases. We have plenty of true facts to go on and we will get more
respect, and be listened to more, by sticking to those facts.
