remedy suggestion?

Post by Vera Resnick »

I have a young px (8 year old boy) who I think was harmed by too much Medorhinum in the past and has been doing very well on Belladonna. Many symptoms are shifting and improving, several transient aggravations but so far so good.

However some symptoms aren't moving so fast.
One is inappropriate touching of women (touching breasts etc., even of women he doesn't know). This is something that only appeared after the overdosing with Med, and hasn't shifted at all with the Bell.
Another is a tendency to jump out, hit someone (usually a sibling), and run and hide. If anyone hits him back he will blame the other person, not take responsibility for starting the whole thing.

The Bell is very clear in the case and I'm not planning to change the remedy at this stage. The question is whether to have patience, maybe change the potency, or give an intercurrent. Usually if I saw this I'd give Med - but since this case revolves around harm from too much Med I don't think it's a good idea.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Vera

A single dose of Med in a higher potency than he used to get might
counteract the overdosing effects.

Hyos, perhaps?

Why was he overdosed--because some symptoms weren't moving and mom (or homeopath) kept trying, or was he well but mom didn't know to stop, or ? Bell and Hyos are very much related...

Thanks for responses. He was given med in very high potencies repeatedly by another h-path, and mother didn't give full report/wasn't fully asked about developments. All rather unclear.

Hyos and Tarentula are interesting. Would Tarentula have this cowardice and blaming others though?

Thanks,
V

Both Hyos and Tarent will make those lewd sort of gestures, (impulsive touching the breasts - both highly sexual rx), Tarentula much more cunning and selfish and will always try and blame another. Tarent also has alternating states so you will see both the hate, strength, impulse as well as the running away (moral depravity as the MM's refer to it as).

But it isn't really cowardice is it? Not wanting to take the blame, or feeling that one is blameless after actually causing a 'situation' is different. I read it as 'deceitful, impulse' and can also be seen as 'mischievous'. So your rx suggestion still good :-)

Tarentula is bold type in 'compulsions, avoiding responsibility'

poor little morally depraved 8 year old - no wonder it's so hard for us to relate MM to real life situations! (picture a smiley here - it's faster to type it than remember to do it!)
