I wonder if someone could clarify the following for me as I have asked on another forum but there has been no response:
It has been suggested that if we have an individual with thyroid problems, that we medicate and then retake the case a couple of months after medication has started as a substantially different picture will have arisen, basing our choice of remedy on the symptoms that are then present, rather on the symptoms of the original case. I would have thought that by doing this we wouldn’t find cure, as we are then treating the drug state and not the diseased state?
Can anyone clarify please?

I think it is the same with anyone that is on a medication short or long term - when you take the case sometimes you can see beyond the drug actions (always asking or observing what it was like before the drug was started and how all sx have been modified by it). You would also have to take into consideration whether the drug has brought the person/animal back to baseline or not. if it has then apparent cure will prevail for some time, then the problems with the drugs will take over at some point. if relative health has not been restored then you will have to take the case and see what comes through, if you can see beyond the drug reactions. But it would be folly to base a prescription of the whole picture that includes drug reactions as many of those sx will be useless unless you have a NBWS picture.

They are my thoughts anyway.
