or he would wear a snowsuit in the summer
He swears at mother and says he hates her when angry
He threatens suicide when angry or sad, he says he will eat peanut butter
Loves car races and wrestling on TV
Mom gave him R49 Dr. Reckeweg for allergies and he changed overnight and
became very hyper, felt nervous, couldn¹t breathe and started spitting 100

He in introverted, likes to be a ham, good sense of humour, does not have a

the world
Mat. Aunt had TB and depression
Mat grandmother, liver, lungs, and diabetes
Pat grandfather liver cancer
His parents are hoping the deafness can be helped with homeopathy but they
are really concerned about the emotional outbursts and compulsive behaviour

more appropriate, also syph.
As I write this up I think of Nat-mur
An energy worker has referred him and says there is a psoric miasm to be
dealt with

Dear Joy,

Modalities:

Worse morning and night
Worse consolation
Worse 6-9 pm

And Nat.mur. does seem similar, doesn't it, with the worse consolation and
the rage etc.? I wouldn't use the high potency system myself though. He may
not withstand it. Personally, I would stick with the 30C's and lower with
regular repetition if necessary. Also, treating acutely can bring longer
term results as well and I would encourage the parents to have him treated
so.

These may be worth looking into although my instinct on reading it was to
look at the birth!! A Baryta salt looks good thinking of the immaturity.
Other thoughts that came into my mind where of Staph as he is picked on and
because of the mosquito bits.

Baryta Muriaticum
Food: cold water, < spicy, salt.
Ear problems, sudden stoppage, followed by pressure in head, tinnitus,
hissing; deafness.
Eczema, dry, scaling. like psoriasis; prolonged itching, spread out.

Just a quick initial response...

I'm sure that, as the energy worker has said, there's a psoric miasm under
there somewhere, as Psora is the basis for other miasms. However, with the
congenital deformities, the destructive behavior, the

Joy/Janice,

Looking at the boy's case I see the large boned constitution, sensitive to
what others think, desire milk/cheese, insecurity, withdrawing. This makes
me think of a calcarea remedy. With the anxiety, restlessness, suicidal
thoughts, chilliness, lack of trust of father - perhaps calc-ar.

I find it interesting that when angry he punches himself in the stomach
which is a rubric with only Bell. - an acute of Calc.

just some thoughts

be well

Yes, and Calcarea and Belladonna are very homesick - he wanted to come home
very badly when away at the school for deaf. And also both Belladonna and
Calc have 'desire to spit'. But does Calc ars have the anger and the
anguish?

More possibly you are right with the Belladonna - put aside the idea that
Belladonna is an acute remedy only - it covers almost every aspect of this
case (depending on how you read it)

But I think we need to know or get to the centre of this case and identify
exactly what needs to be cured - and Belladonna seems a good place to start.

Best wishes, Joy

Calc-ar is 3 marks in anguish, not bad for a fairly small remedy. I am not
sure I agree that bell. is only an acute remedy. I have seen it prescribed
for chronic conditions by well known practitioners.
I think that the calc-ar does strike deeper if you look at the physical and
mental nature of the child.

By the way, Joy, nice job on the m-arct. case.

be well
