Bumperstickers
Friends,
I do not think that a "bumpersticker campaign" will help us much. We have to think much much more seriously than this!
I personally think that homeopaths are in part to blame for our predicament (please note that I want to emphasize the "in part"). I am frequently surprised and even shocked at how homeopaths defend themselves from attack. Unless and until a larger number of homeopaths are knowledgeable about what controlled clinical trials presently exist that provide EVIDENCE of the efficacy of homeopathy, we will simply be talking to ourselves in decreasing numbers.
In 99% or more of the responses to the recent attacks in the media, the responders don't mention research...and this isn't because there isn't much research...it is because homeopaths are usually unfamiliar with it.
People on this list know how much I like to reference research...and I realize that some skeptics cannot be convinced by our research...but there is a greater number of people who are on the fence...and our ignorance on THIS subject and the rare referencing to research suggests that there is no backbone to homeopathy and to homeopaths.
I have harped on this list about my ebook...and I will do so again in hopes that more people will wake up and smell the coffea:

Re: Bumperstickers
Thanks Dana - Facts are relevant.
Do we not also need to include WHY homeopathy is better than allopathy?
In all the diatribe against homeopathy, that relevant aspect is swept
under the carpet by allopaths
- why do we LET them get away with that?
Why only be defensive, it's a weak position - why not be on the attack?
I'd like my wheelchair "bumper sticker" to read:
Allopathy death count 2009 USA: xxxxxxx
HOMEOPATHY HEALS.
Where to find xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx? (Yes it grew while I was writing this).
Then when challenged I can refer to the research and personal results
on homeopathy.
Namaste,
Irene

We can add a few allopathic "debt" clocks to the ones here: http://www.usdebtclock.org/
side effects
drug interactions
hospitalizations
# of prescriptions
deaths

Re: Bumperstickers
I get the most positive reactions by telling stories. I have endless
stories from my own experience and those of my family and friends. When
they hear what it did for me, it makes them think more than if I tell them
about some study.
So if I were to have a bumper sticker, I would say, "Homeopathy saved me
from getting gallbladder surgery." Or "Homeopathy cured my son's
allergies." Or "Homeopathy stopped my husband's chest pains." Or
"Homeopathy healed my father's gout."

Re: Bumperstickers
i think stories are great and have quite a few of them
myself for real time conversations. however, bumper stickers
need to be short and sharp for quick eye-catching impact.
your concepts would make great letters to the editor or
articles in newsletters.

HELLO ALL! I only vist this site to learn about my son who is doing homeopathy for the last 10 months! He went from Non verbal to Verbal! Last week one of my friends had a party for her Non verbal child and I had a T shirt printed for her that read " If you want to recover a child from autism please visit www.drluc.com !! I just thought you would love it!

Re: Bumperstickers
In regards to research on Homeopathy there is a fascinating article on hpathy.com by Karin Lenger, Ph.D. showing photon activity in homeopathic remedies. The experiment was done using Tesla coils...read more at hpathy.com/research/Lenger-homeopathicpotencies.asp or go to hpathy.com , click on the scientific research bar, scroll down for Karin Lenger's article.
Good information.

Re: Bumperstickers
so happy for your success. autism is such an unnecessary
tragedy that has been foisted on us all for the sake of greed.
