This thread has taken a great turn, with Tanya's timely musings on religion and psychological conditioning.

Wouldn't it be great if someone could figure out how to use homeopathic psychology, where allopathic psychology seems as doomed as allopathic pharmacy ?

Interesting thoughts...
The idea of simply 'shedding (more) light' helps - would this, could this be homeopathic? :-} Or? if you feel compelled to label... Writing about what is out there, simply bringing the present situations in many areas to light - describing, clarifying what one sees, simply drawing attention to what is there - no judgment, no reaction, no flag waving of an opposing cause. Simply describing, defining and showing, then trusting (for me) the next generation to see and continue the change toward better I feel began many years ago with the breaking...

Who really runs the world? Some think the governments of the world's richest nations make all the choices. Others claim there are cabals in the corridors of power. Mystics, though, believe our combined, collective wishes affect all events, as do our thoughts and deeds. They see a divine democracy where we all have an equal vote. Some astrological traditions talk of times when the heavens become particularly receptive to earthly petitioning. The coming conjunction of Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron would be such an occasion. It might be wise, this weekend, to start campaigning on behalf of your brightest dream.

I've heard from a number of sources, the concept that (paraphrased)
If only 1% of humans awake to some (insert definition .. "sustained higher conscious state")
-that will be enough to propagate an all encompassing wave of conscisousness planet-wide.

"shedding light" / "being present to light" are some possible definitions (attributes) of "higher consciousness"
"being peace" .. "being love" -are also attributes worthy of taking on

When we examine the nature of "reality" some of us come up with "what we see on the TV news"
These of "us" are also likely to be the majority of "us" who are consuming their daily governmental allotment of rat poison (err.. "dental" fluoride" .. aka: waste product from uranium mining) .. these of "us" are a mass "voting bloc" which is "controlled" by (TV, other indoctrination, fear of ridicule, etc)

Some of "us" realize (pun
reality is an entirely personal and individual experience, that arises in the mind;
some of these of "us" feel that arising in "groupmind" .. or have simply attained some experience that mind is a generic "stuff" like air, rather than a "my mind" .. "your mind" division.

At any rate. I'd love to believe that "the sleepers" the vast majority of people (I suppose?) who believe that they are a body, that the biological process gives rise to "conscious thought" .. that the mechanical world is "Reality" (Concrete, etc)
-- will feel the breeze of "higher consciousness" releasing them from their "Reality" and into the light of consciousness as "reality" .. giving rise to "mental process" and material appearance of "reality" .. etc.

Part of me doubts that.

Oh look a weak attempt at insult

I'm also fairly sure that Jean & Carita aren't "recreational drug" users,
and anyone who knows me (or bothers to check me out on google, my websites, etc)
would be aware that I have a great wealth of entheogenic research in my past,
I'm not the least bit ashamed or inhibited about that fact,
-and for the past 20yrs have not used any sort of drug what-so-ever
(excepting acetominaphen on the occasion of a broken collarbone.)

Many people who've never used "recreational drugs" seem to be a bit one-dimensional.
Not all, but many.
Slipping free of the "mind control" imposed by your close relationship with TV & such can be mightily difficult !
I remember David Little's scoffing over someone's concept of a TV-imprinted miasm
-while not a miasm, absolutely a mental straightjacket !
