My wisdom tooth question brings to mind another: Years back i had
arthroscopic knee surgery. It went fine, and afterwards Arnica (can't
remember if I used 200c or 1M) was all I needed for pain; it worked
great. But a week or so along I still had quite a lot of swelling, and
the arnica did not seem to be addressing that, so I finally resorted to
taking the prescribed anti-inflammatory (I wish I remembered what it
was), which did help. Can anyone offer thoughts about any remedy that
might have addressed the swelling (no bruising) more successfully, in
that situation?

post-surgical swelling
Re: post-surgical swelling
I’ve had far better success with Arnica in 12c and 30c for physical trauma including post surgical swelling. Actually it worked too well for me several times. Had a nasty sprained ankle – hobbled into urgent care with no swelling and no bruising (days later) thinking that I should get an Xray since the pain was horrific (had 4 stress fractures) – Dr. took one look from the doorway and saw no bruising or swelling and pronounced I had sciatica and left the doorway telling me to go find a chiropractor. He never entered the room – so obviously – no exam what so ever. Had similar problem after breaking 3 toes – no bruising or swelling and the Dr. stood outside the room and pronounced I was just there for drugs and walked away. I convinced the PA to order an X-ray and the original Dr. would not speak to me after that.
Did you try the lower potencies?
