Hello everyone,
Just to alert you to an email that I received today, apparently from Canada - see below, which of course has been deleted. Best wishes, Grace

Subject: asthma
Greetings
My Office has been asked to investigate a case in which you were apparently involved....I would just like to check one issue with you before going any further. Is it true that you hold the view that asthma can be cured by homeopathy and patients can give up their use of inhalers?
Thanks for responding

Re: asthma - a friendly warning
Wouldn't the simplest answer (if one were going to give one) simply be
that inhalers are used on an "as-needed" basis, so if the need reduces,
then usage should also; however, if the need continues, then usage
should also continue. I can't imagine what other approach one would
take in practice, and I can't imagine how anyone could object to that.
What am I missing??

Friends,
Probably the best way to talk with physicians like this who express concern about homeopathy is to make reference to scientific evidence of homeopathy and asthma. My ebook, "Homeopathic Family Medicine," has reference to and description of 200 clinical trials. Details about this ebook are here: http://www.homeopathic.com/store/hfm/ebook_hfm.jsp
I encourage you to be diplomatic and informative.

Hi Shannon,
no, you are not missing anything, I have just chosen not to reply. And of course he will
hear about it soon, for I have my suspicions that it might have been his colleague Prof. DC
who may have instigated this email. I don't know this canadian guy from anywhere, and it
sounds rather suspicious of how he discovered my website. Besides, we treat people not
diseases. I just felt that the seemingly threatening tone of the email needs to be shared,
just in case anyone else receives a similar one. Like I said to DC, I have enough work in
my practice, treating people who seek a more gentle and effective modality of healing,
and don't have enough time for this kind of pointless communication. If he is investigating
something about my practice, he will have to contact my registration body. Grace

Is that some sort of "fishing" to get someone to state that they can CURE a DISEASE with homeopathy - or to state with confidence that someone should stop using an inhaler? Wouldn't those be things a practitioner should be careful not to say? Are they trying to catch people up so they can sue them for practicing medicine without a license or smear homeopathy as being "quackery?"

Hi Serenity,
He won't catch me for practicing without a licence, because I don't live in the USA or
Canada. Thank goodness that in the UK we still have more open democratic laws, and
Homeopathy has been available on the National Health Service by Act of Parliament since
1948.
I know well why this is happening; I only shared to warn everyone, because this group is
trolled by supporters of people who are engaged in destroying homeopathy. I seem to
have become personna non grata of a certain professor of Pharmacology in London, after
he had to apologise on his blog for misquoting me and publishing my photo without
consent. So, he is now getting his friend in Canada to 'entice and harrass'. But I have not
answered, in fact, if he emails me again, I might just obtain legal advice on enticement
and harrassment. But I don't think he will. And I also bet that he will soon get a copy of
this.
