Another general question.
One of the cancer patient's other co-caretakers is asking (having
previously rejected the idea) whether chemo might after all be a useful
"supplement" to the approach she'd previously wanted (cesium chloride
to kill cancer cells, plus heavy-duty schedule of veggie juices,
supplements and "special foods", basically). I've always read that
chemo is very damaging and weakening, but I think she's worried that he
won't be willing to do what's needed for the "more natural" approach.
(He's so oversensitive and exhausted and grumpy that he will often not
allow himself to be fed, given supplements, etc. Tomorrow I'll have a
chance to try remedies, but I'm not feeling especially confident, will
only be there a few days, and follow-up might be iffy, so I'm not eager
to pull a "Let me handle it", sad to say.)
I would love to hear if anyone has experience to suggest whether chemo
might be useful in the context (honestly I think he could die in a
matter of days if something effective isn't done quickly), or whether
that would just be working against the other therapies?
Thanks again,
Shannon

Re: Cancer patient
after all the discussion about vit c therapy that we just recently had,
why not suggest that--of course you need to find someone to give
those high doses intravenously. but it is perported to begin to act
very quickly.

He did have some of that at the clinic. If he goes *back* into a
hospital setting we'll aim to have more of that done. (Depending what
happens, when, and where!)

Hi,
It depends on the type of cancer.
In our days most bone cancers are curable if treated early. Chemotherapy is an important pillar of the teherapy in most malignant bone cancers.

Re: Cancer patient
Thanks,
It's small cell carcinoma, probably originating in the lungs and now
spread at least to the liver and bones, and quite possibly elsewhere (I
think the hospital stopped looking at that point). About a month ago
he was given about a month to live, maybe a few months with radiation
and chemo. After 3 weeks at an "alternative" clinic, he's still alive,
can still get himself to and from the bathroom, but really not much
more than that. Someone had wondered whether he's even *strong* enough
to tolerate chemo; I have no idea what the parameters are for that.
Well, to me chemo seems like a bad idea, but I am feeling more and more
aware of how much I *don't* know about the issues. (I'm reading madly,
tho!)
Thanks,
Shannon

The Hallelujah Diet has helped many people recover from all manner of illness, including Stage IV cancer. One very visible person is Dr. Lorraine Day, a surgeon, who at one point, was not expected to live through the night. Her husband gave her raw veggie enemas, she survived, eventually totally recovered (in about a year) and is now teaching to eat a raw food diet with lots of raw vegetable juices as well as wheat grass juice. Barley Grass juice is preferred by H Acres www.hacres.com . If the body has the nutrients that it needs, it can recover from almost anything. God designed us with a miraculously self-healing body. I personally am recovering from BrCa following this lifestyle, with no conventional intervention...and it is working. I am almost totally healed. Check out the website and the testimonials. It is truly amazing.
