Hi,
I just started comparing Allen's cheap Indian edition to Radar's more
recent German translation. I am going to just note the few gleanings,
because there is probably a history that I don't know behind them. The
following examples are taken from the first section of the Mind.
Rubric in Radar that I don't see in Allen (This is difficult because
these same rubrics could be listed elsewhere in Allen. The order of
the listings is not the same. Radar is not alphabetical)
Radar added??
Cheerful
Irritability (Allen has fretful but the remedies are different)
In general it does not seem that Radar has added remedies that Allen
doesn't have. The exception is in several places I found m-arct added
by Radar or the German edition).
It is well known that Allen added many remedies. I was surprised to
see that the additions are numerous. Most are 1st degree.
In Radar the rubric is Changeable moods
Allen - alternating moods

Naja added 3rd degree
M-arct 1st degree added
In my mind, there is a difference between changeable moods and
alternating moods. Synthesis has the Radar Boenninghausen rubric
listed as alternating moods.

iod, lyc, Merc, Naja (added by Allen) , nat-c, Nat-m, nux-m, op, Phos,
PLAT, puls (Radar has upgraded to 3rd degree), sars, stan, stram,
sulph, SUL-AC, (tarent added by allen) valer, ZINC

There are other rubrics with many more instances of remedies added by
Allen. For example Indifference has 6 out of 60. Synthesis has 450
remedies. I don't know when you would use such a large rubric except
maybe as an elimination rubric.
