Ah - yes that is very possible considering how long homeopathy has
had reference material. Also depends on the country of the author.
Very complicated. It's more recently that copyright extends 70 yrs
after death of author (if author died before 1936 - but there are
all sorts of exceptions.)
Thanks for reminding me of the after death aspect.
Namaste,
Irene

I'm pretty sure we are paying extra to have access to them. Certainly Radar pays them. It's hard to make a living as an author, but there are small rewards (in comparison to the work they put into the writing). I'm waiting for Irene's books on cat constitutional types.

Hello Ellen,
This Coppewrath edition is puzzling me. Do you mean Coppenrath? He was
simply a printer and publisher of books and an art dealer. He published
Boenninghausen's original German 1st edition Therapeutic Pocketbook in
Münster in 1846. But the RADAR version should say who translated the version
they've used into English. Who was that?
Chris.

Dear Chris,
I will contact the Radar people and ask them. I am just copying what they have as the source.
Thanks,
Ellen

yes, that is my point. they can use any contemporary material but need permission
and probably pay some royalty for this. for example you can buy murphy's or jeremy
scherr's module for a fee and i am sure they get a cut for that. that is how the system
works.

Re: How to learn the Boenninghausen repertory and method
the one thing that bothers me about radar books is that you dont
get the publishing information. unless the preface has a date in it
you dont know when the books were published or what edition they are.
you would have to contact radar tech support to get that info i believe.

*****Tanya, you may be referring to EH with your comment. In
Radar/Synthesis you can find the info:
If you double click on the author reference displayed next to the
remedies in the rubrics, it gives you the name of the book and the year
of publication and the publisher.
And re Boenninghausen - in Radar
Boenninghausen's Characteristics and Repertory is the 1936 Bombay
edition.
There is also a reference (bg2a) to the 'original' version being
represented.
There is also the therapeutic pocket book, German edition 1846 and the
Syst. Alpahbet. Rep of Hom -- and additions from his son -- all included
in the synthesis repertory.
