Agoraphobia and panic attacks
Agoraphobia and panic attacks
Hello list,
a close friend of mine has developed agoraphobia. DOnt know much of her
symptoms. I ll write as many as i remember:
Has panic attacks when in public. She fears of fainting and become
embarassed because of this in puplic.
It appeared before almost a year, the last months it is limiting her
life. Many times she didnt go to work to avoid transportation.
I always remember her having stomach problems.
When she eats her nose becomes runny (not much).
Thin woman, 35 years old but appears 25.
Has lots of very thin and light coloured hair (pilosity?) in her face.
Very gentle and assists everyones needs. Everybody loves her from the
moment they meet her.
Left home before 10 years cause she wanted to be free.
Light skin coloured.
She visited a homeopath before 2 months, no results. I cant remember
what she was prescribed. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Suggest her going to a good classical homeopath and having her case taken.

Re: Agoraphobia and panic attacks
Two months--meaning two visits, and one remedy?--is not really a long
time. Do you know whether the homeopath has solid training in doing
"constitutional" care (not just acutes; has success in curing chronic
illnesses, etc.)? It could be helpful to know the nature of their
training and how much experience (and perhaps assistance) they have.

iT is one visit in two months.
His educational background is not known by my friend.
But, she has visited him two years ago for a cyst that she had in her uterus. The doctor gave her a snake remedy (i cant remember how she said it) which cured the cyst and her extremely sensitive and very itchy skin.

Oh, that's different--and maybe a good start. Do you know whether
there was any change in her agoraphobia since that snake remedy--either
better or worse than it was before?

Re: Agoraphobia and panic attacks
The snake remedy was lachesis.
All her life she had A VERY SLIGHT agorafobia. No change in her agorafobia with lachesis. Her agorafobia became serious after almost two years since lachesis( it was for the cyst). After aconitum (which was for the agorafobia), the fobia became much more intense and this "wave" is lasting more than 40 days and is becoming worse. She is scared for her sanity and her life. She cries a lot because of her condition. By the way, she cries a lot for everything
TOday she got another aconitum 1m without the doctors prescription cause she
"cant wait anymore for the doctor to come from his one-month vacation". She felt a bit dizzy.
Hope this helps a bit

Re: Agoraphobia and panic attacks
Hi Dmitri,
It sounds as tho the lachesis has brought up the next "layer" for
healing; and seems aconite was close enough to bring a reaction, but
not close enough to heal. Instead it is clarifying the picture--which
should be useful to the homeopath, but sounds dreadful for her!! Let
us know what the 1M does; I would not expect it to help, but if she's
taken it already, I guess we'll see!
When does the homeopath get back? I gather he does not have anyone
covering for him while he's gone?

Re: Agoraphobia and panic attacks
it seems that the lachesis might have been supressive since
she went from a physical complaint to a mental complaint.
the aconite agg the mental complaint even worse. case
is going in the wrong direction.
why isnt she trying to take a 6 or 12c aconite to antidote
the impact?

Hi Tamara,
Wasn't the aggravation of the slight agarophobia which she had had all
her life **2 years** after taking the Lachesis???
