What are some possible explanations for an immediate and very intense
aggravation (head pressure and headache), in someone who normally does
*not* aggravate?
It was a 200c potency, and she's normally had no trouble across a wide
range of potencies, tho had not had this particular remedy before. (By
fortunate/unfortunate accident, it was antidoted the following day by
dental work; up to that point it had been about 18 hours since the
dose, and the agg had maybe begun to decrease a little, or maybe not.
Since the remedy still *seems* well indicated to me, my thought had
been to try again with 6c in water, but I'm told that it's not
currently available in anything below 206c. So, I'm not sure what to
do! :-/
I guess I could have her try first carrying the bottle, then perhaps
olfaction, then perhaps highly diluted dose...? But I'm perplexed by
the reaction.
Thanks,
Shannon

Re: Reason for aggravation?
Hi Shannon,
I have read that aggravations can suggest remedy mis-fit. I don't know how you would confirm that. Is there a related remedy that might do just as well?
Best,
Ellen

Re: Reason for aggravation?
too bad it was antidoted. it would be notable if there was any general improvement.
as for a lower potency--what about 30c or 12c, or even an LM potency?
it seems to me a big leap to go from 200c to an olifactory potency.
was your reference to a 206C a typo?

Nope, 206 was not a typo! As to why i don't go lower--Hahnemann Labs
says that neither they nor Helios, nor, so far as they're aware,
anyplace else, currently has any potency of lac maternum lower than
206c. (Hm, I wonder whether I specifically asked about LM also? Maybe
I'll re-check.)
