Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm still a student,
but I thought embryologically the order was endoderm
(being the innermost layer), the mesoderm was the
middle layer and the outermost (most superficial)
layer was the ectoderm.
I would have thought that where lameness in the knee
was replaced by bronchitis, it would indicate that the
case was moving in the wrong direction and becoming
more serious. Lameness in the knee involves bone &
cartilage which is derived from the mesoderm, and
bronchitis affects the epithelium of the respiratory
tract which is evolved from the endoderm. So isn't
that an inward progression, which is the opposite of
Hering's Law(Rule) of Direction of Cure?

Re: Predictive homoeopathy
Absolutely Sue.
Consider it another way, one can survive without legs buck you cannot
survive long without lungs!
So if the disease moves from extremities to the major organs, we have
suppression.
This is demonstrated where the allopathic and suppressive treatment of skin
conditions leads to asthma and that of joint conditions leads to heart
problems.
When the homoeopathically selected remedy is then prescribed, you see this
reversed.

Re: Predictive homoeopathy
Sue,
In terms of the blastocyst, mesoderm is in the middle and it would seem that
the order of disease progression would be ecto-meso-endo as you suggest.
However, mesoderm is the source of vital organ parenchyma versus endoderm
which is generally forming linings of GI, Resp, Urinary tracts, etc. During
embryonic development and in maintenance of the fully developed body,
nutrients move down established gradients. (From neuro-ectoderm to mesoderm
to endoderm to ectoderm. Within each "derm" there is also a priority of
organs, e.g. urinary tract is deeper than respiratory tract.)These gradients
"just happen" to correlate with the directions of cure attributed to Hering.
During the curative process, those tissues getting first "crack" at the
nutritional supply, would have the ability to repair first. As waste is
discharged from the healing areas, it too flows downstream to exit via
bowel, urine, skin, lungs, etc. Thus the potential to see symptoms in the
endoderm and ectodermal derivatives during the healing process.
hope this helps
Dr. Vijayakar's book "Predictive Homeopathy Part 1, Theory of Suppression"
gives much more detail, of course.

Re: Predictive homoeopathy
Soroush,
Lung parenchyma is mesodermal and is DEEPER than joints. Therefore, a
disease moving from lung parenchyma to joints is moving out but a disease
moving from joints to lung endothelium e.g. bronchitis, is moving DEEPER.
This fine delineation I think it the significant advancement provided by Dr.
Vijayakar's work. This is not just theoretical in his clinic. He has MANY
severe pathologies that have cured according to his understanding of
direction of cure.
