prolapsed vertebrae

Post by Rochelle »

I have just had a phone call from a man with prolapsed vertebrae. Now I can't find any rubric in the rep for this. He has had it in the past and it has restarted after a motor bike accident last Wednesday. Because of this I will give him a couple of doses of Arnica 200 but I would like to know if anyone have managed to cure or retract this problem. He says there is nothing else wrong with him. I wondered if this could be sorted with a constitutional remedy or if it just needs rest, surgery etc?
Thanks

Work using the exact reported symptoms - modalities are very important
- lying down on painful part / back , motion, walking, bending,
squatting etc.; sudden moves, coughing etc. etc.
This itself can lead to a remedy... I have prescribed based on this
with very good results even in disc prolapse and the pain is relieved
within a week...

Berberis, Bellis perennis etc. have given me good results. Staph is
always a good bet esp. if there is history of tractions, spinal
manipulations etc. Hypericum is good as well..

If we repertorise this complaint in complete repertory mentioned in that, Back - hernia - Proteus (Bowel nosode) only one drug.

I have just reread your post Roger. I note you say that the pain is relieved. Now does this also mean that the prolapsed disc is back in place?

Person to whom I gave Calen to heal injury on hand reported it also
cured his slipped disc - no pain.
Three months later he left for S. America on an extended contract
so don't know how he is now.
Calen is a great vulnarary, related to Arnica & Bellis.
Robin Murphy : acts on muscle, spine, liver & skin.
"Calen has an action on the spine."
