Hi List member,
Does anyone know if the process of putting a seal (a transparent plastic seal, like the American manufacturers Standard and WHP and others do) generates HEAT during the act of sealing the bottle?
If it actually generates HEAT in the act of sealing -- than is it heat which can HARM the remedies?
Is there a sealing machine which does not involve heat during the act of putting the seal on the bottle?
Recently I wrote to a good and well-known homeopathic manufacturer, and asked him to put a seal as described above (a transparent plastic seal, like the American manufacturers Standard and WHP do) -- and he told me that his problem is the heat involved.
Thanks in advance.

SEAL ON BOTTLES OF REMEDIES
Re: SEAL ON BOTTLES OF REMEDIES
Call Washington and ask them www.homeopathyworks.com . I use and sell their products with zero problems everything works wonderful that I have used. I would think that the small amount of heat used makes no harm. I band product bottles all the time and it is a quick heat. They probably get much hotter in your purse/jacket pocket/car etc and no harm. Kathy

I know people who take a drop or two in hot tea. I myself do so
and so does my wife.
Why should heat or cold do any harm to it?

Re: SEAL ON BOTTLES OF REMEDIES
I work with Mediral International, a liquid homeopathic company. Our process of shrink wrapping exposes the remedy to heat for about 2 seconds. Our quality control indicates that the glass, label and shrink wrap provide enough insulation/density to prevent the heat from being transmitted to the remedy. If it were a prolonged exposure, it would most certainly have detrimental effects. There don’t seem to be any reproducible tests indicating at what temperature the remedy is denatured, the conservative estimate has always been around 140ºF for a liquid homeopathic.
